Barbara Bush Hospitalized, Condition Not Life Threatening
November 25, 2008 11:05 PM
ABC News' Annie Allen, Dave Strickland, Gina Sunseri and Tahman Bradley report:
Former First Lady Barbara Bush will not be leaving the hospital today, ABC News has learned.
On Wednesday morning, spokesman Jim McGrath said the former First Lady had "a procedure" overnight. He would not elaborate but doctors will give him a statement on her condition which will be released shortly.
Bush was rushed to Houston's Methodist Hospital on Tuesday evening, where she was undergoing tests for abdominal pains, a staffer for former President George H.W. Bush told ABC News.
The Bush spokesman told ABC News that all of the tests have come back negative, but did not say what doctors were testing for. Methodist Hospital sources say that Mrs. Bush's condition is not life threatening.
The former first lady arrived at the hospital around 5:30 p.m. CT.
Former President Bush is at the hospital with his wife. The former first couple have a home in Houston.

Okay, so she had a gut ache. I don't wanna hear any about the Bush family anymore. May they all rot in a dark cave somewhere.

The Bush family is horrible. I hope that they face justice soon for all of the problems they cause.
And for this one I recall very evil remarks about the situation victims of hurricane katrina were in. that of course due to the most terrible of the Bush family, Dubya

why don't you folks be nice. What if it was your wife or mother? Maybe than you would have some compassion.

I'm sure bush lady is receiving the best medical care this country has to offer. She probably has her very own luxury suite complete with 2 dozen red roses delivered to her room every day she's there, and gourmet dinners made to her specifications. I wonder how many hard-working Americans in this country have to go without medical care because they can't afford it. But don't worry, Bush lady is well taken care of. As long as the Bushes are taken care of, I'll sleep better at night!!! How's that for being nice.

Barbara Bush is a great lady! I like Mrs. Bush and I wish her well and a fast recovery! We love you Mrs. Bush!

Enough with this horrible family. An evil crew which has driven this country into a ditch. And the schrub and his mother head the list!!!!

who can possibly care about the bush family anymore...
Posted by: john | Nov 26, 2008 1:28:45 AM
As much as I don't like the Bush family and some of the remarks Mrs. Bush made regarding body bags and Hurricane Katrina, I do hope for her recovery.

Good Lord! What is wrong with people? Mrs. Bush is not some horrid person. Not that it matters but EVERY member of a presidential family receives the best of care. It's just the way it works in our nation - and even if we have universal health care, it will remain the same. Are people really so hateful they can't feel bad for anyone with whom they disagree or who is associated with someone with whom they disagree? People attack Nancy Reagan, Barbara Bush, and Hillary Clinton. Can't wait till it starts on Laura Bush and Michelle Obama. Have some compassion.

John there are millions of us who care about the Bush family!

I hope she gets better and i hope every ill person gets better soon.

I am an Obama supporter .. but I always liked Mrs. B. Bush the best .. I just never could figure out how she managed to raise a son like GW .. I know he needed a job .. but why did they choose to give him the USA ??

I honestly do wish her well because I don't wish pain and suffering on anyone. Too bad her and her family didn't feel the same way.

"Why should we hear about body bags and deaths. Oh, I mean, it's not relevant. So why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that?"
As you know, those were Barbara Bush's comments about censoring photographs of the flag-draped coffins of our soldiers. And then her "their underprivileged anyways" comment about Katrina victims.
I think the only thing Barbara and her family care about are themselves, their rich friends and making more money, not necessarily the legal way.

Maybe because of typo's, lack of proof reading, and basically because we could care less........... but when you can't challenge the subject matter be sure to nitpick..... you righties kill me.
