Still No Medical Records From Palin

ABC News' Kate Snow reports: With three days left until the election, the John McCain campaign still has not, despite frequent requests, released any information about vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin's medical history, prompting some well-warranted skepticism.
Of course there are plenty of perfectly innocent explanations. The governor is perfectly healthy and the campaign feels no public pressure to release information? The doctor is on vacation and unreachable? The dog ate their records?
There are also more sinister explanations. But we won't go there.
Last Sunday morning, Palin spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt told ABC News that Palin's staff planned to release information regarding her medical history "early in the week."
That was six days ago. ABC News has asked repeatedly about the status of the release of information and received no updates from the campaign. It is unclear what is holding things up.
"We'll let you know when we have something to say," spokeswoman Maria Comella said on Thursday. Today she had no comment when asked again.
Aides suggested privately that there was nothing to hide in the records, but that it was simply taking a while to call doctors and round up the appropriate information to release.
It was ten days ago that Governor Palin said she would be "fine" with releasing her records.
She is the only one of the presidential or vice presidential candidates who has not released any health information about herself.
Palin did suggest that releasing her records could be fodder for political attacks of some kind.
"So be it, if that will allow some curiosity seekers, perhaps, to have one more thing that they can either check the box off that they can find something to criticize, perhaps, or find something to rest them assured over. Fine. I'm healthy, I'm happy, had five kids. That is going to be in the medical records. Never been seriously ill or hurt. You will see that in the medical records if they're released," Palin told NBC's Brian Williams on October 22.

I hope that ABC highlights this on the evening news and on their Sunday morning programs today, Sunday and Monday --- or they in my consideration are playing part of the cover-up...
So ABC, do you best to relate the fact that Governor Palin and Senator McCain are NOT releasing the medical information.
There is something there, what is is as you have said is speculative, but it is something that the campaign does not want out there, that's for sure!!!

WHAT'S SHE HIDING?
Its the same thing with the Patriot act: we may not like the extra transparency but if we have nothing to hide then we have little good reason to withhold something as simple as med records. There is a difference between "I am healthy and my medical records confirm that" and "I am healthy but you may never know if I've had a crack addiction or brain dammage".

please, please continue to report this through the next three days.
It should not be ignore that the campaign is not willing to release medical records - for whatever reason - which only suggests that there is something to hide. Worth making the public aware of, especially following eight years of unprecedented secrecy from the executive branch.

If there were nothing to hide, or fret about, within them, they would have been released.
But they haven't been.
Four candidates total for President, Vice President. Three have released their medical records.
One has not.
It's pretty clear.

Just vote if you haven't done so...if you live in a state which does not allow early voting instead of waiting for Palin's medical records go blog in in a polling line. Nothing else matters.

Obama doesn't release his records and his supporters are after Palin.

Congrats to Kate Snow for keeping pace with this issue - DON'T STOP - please, for the sake of integrity of campaigning and for the future of this campaign and campaigns to come.
I agree that there is a cover-up of some medical condition or medications that Governor Palin is currently taking or has taken... and this should come out.
Or as somebody said, she may be getting some BOTOX injections or has had plastic surgery or dermal fillers???
Who knows - but Senator McCain and/or his campaign staff does NOT want this out.

Did you know that Obama has never released his medical records? Maybe that would make a good "cover-up" story for the news shows, also. Maybe they could also include several of the other "unknowns" related to Obama. (like Columbia transcript, Bar application, should I go on?)

but a healthy 48 year old male is going to have a list that is pretty short...a page is sufficient because that may be all there really is.
Palin has had kids...her records would be more substantial.
