Face on Earth?
January 21, 2007 9:24 PM
Go into Google Maps, and look for this location: 50° 0'38.20"N 110° 6'48.32"W It's a bit east of Medicine Hat, Alberta.
Here's a LINK to it.
Don't mean to start anything, but it was big on digg.com over the weekend.

haha, "Don't mean to start anything" either but it looks like there's a feline creature purched in his (her?) head.
Nice find, this one looks even better than cydonia.

It's Napi -- Old Man, Trickster -- a Blackfeet legend.

Yes, and if you zoom out a bit, you can see that it's listening to an IPOD.

It's an interesting view.
If you zoom out 8x you will see a large "X" in the upper left corner. Is this possibly the location of the "Real" X-Files.

This is obvious proof that there was once intelligent life on the planet.

Interesting, especially since it looks Egyptian.

This is a good example of the phenomenon (and I forget what it's called) where we try to superimpose a pattern when we see random elements in an image, much the way we see the "Man in the Moon" when looking at a full moon on a clear night. The "face" reminds me of the famous bust of Queen Nefertiti.

Isn’t it interesting that everyone finds different meaning in this image. Just goes to show you what we “see” in a random pattern like this is often dependant upon our past experience. Whether it’s images of virgins in a piece of burnt toast or an alien face on Mars, when our brain attempts to find a pattern in complexity, it often substitutes what we want to see the most, whether it’s actually there or not. Personally, I think this looks like an American Indian in a headdress.

I kinda thought it looked like a guy strangling a large woman with piano wire and similtaneously stabbing a dog with a butcher knife.
Am I the only one???? Don't you see it????
:)
