Even more worrisome to me than the new Chinese nuclear subs is the amount of our debt the Chinese government is buying. At the rate we are borrowing money to run our government, and the rste Chinese are financing us, we should all be afraid of China's ability to cripple our economy.

At least they didn't invade a country killing over 100,000 innocent people for oil. Why would people be surprised that they are investing in their military with all the money they are getting from us. To be a dominate force on the global stage you need to strike fear in other countries. That's what the Americans do.

As far as intellegence goes, we probably have the full plans on them. The Chinese probably copied them fromt he Russians and or bought a boat and reversed engineered it. These subs are props for a Chinese propaganda film called 'Nuclear Attack for Militant Revolution of Peace' - (losely translated). You'll notiec there appears to be a missile loading hatch open on the upper sub. This hatch, which is clearly where the ICBMs would be located is, in fact, far too large. This is where equipment is stored overnight, as theft of movie equipment has become a bit of a problem lately. The film is already grossly over-budget, and it remains doubtful if both ships will be used in the climactic end-sequence, where they collide into each other and create a time vortex after detonating all their missiles simultaneously. This of course being the only method to produce a sequel, 'Nuclear Annihilation to the Future'.

There is a strong chance that the Chinese military owns Cosco, so, all you people who purchase cheap Chinese goods from Cosco and elsewhere are probably financing the construction of those subs that will one day be used to hit us with nuclear tipped ICBMs. Is cheap really worth the chance of financing our own incineration?

SunnyOne934, COSCO is a Chinese shipping/logistics company owned by the Chines government. Not to be confused with COSTCO (notice the T) which sells wholesale goods unlike the Chinese crap like Walmart sells.

COSCO does not have any retail presence. They are one of the many shipping/logistic companies that COSTCO and many other companie use though.

I wonder what kind of paint they used when they painted these subs.If the subs are anything like the stuff they sell to walmart then I wouldn't worry to much.

We have tarifs on Cambodian clothing imports, a democracy, and none on China, a totalitarian government. This is after we set up Cambodia to be a model of fair labor in Asia as opposed to China.

We can all thank "slick-willy" for approving China as a most favored nation regarding international trade. We can see the results of this in the satellite photos.
