Charlie Rose Cracks Face Saving MacBook Air

No one could ever call Charlie Rose vain.
The talk show host says he sacrificed his face for ... his MacBook Air. Rose appeared on his show last night looking like he’d been violently mugged -- complete with black eye and bandage.
The reason? He reports he tripped while walking down 59th street and made a split-second decision between saving face and saving one of the year’s most talked-about gadgets. Gadget protection won the day, his producers told TechCrunch.
Rose and his prized gadget are recovering nicely.
“The Macbook Air is fine. He showed us the blood stains on it this morning,” Rose’s producers said.
