Lindsay Lohan to Rap About Rehab?
March 05, 2008 1:22 PM
Tupac Shakur rapped about his months behind bars. Kanye West recorded tracks about his near-fatal car crash.
And now ... Lindsay Lohan's rhyming about her time in rehab?
The 21-year-old starlet told People magazine Tuesday that she's "back on track and figuring out what's next" after multiple car accidents, arrests and stints in rehab.
"I'm recording right now [with] Motown and being in the studio again has been really great," she said of her "dance, hip-hop and R&B album," adding, "It's all coming together."
Lohan's last album, "A Little More Personal (Raw)," was panned by critics and fell to the bottom half of the Billboard 200 chart within six weeks of its December 2005 debut. She recently showed off some of her more marketable assets in a nude pictorial for New York Magazine, modeled after Marilyn Monroe's famous 1962 photo shoot, "The Last Sitting." Lohan's also returning to her acting roots -- she's set to start shooting the comedy "Ye Olde Times," with Jack Black and David Arquette, next month.
Meanwhile, Lohan's mom is getting ready for her stint in the spotlight -- E! announced Tuesday that Dina Lohan's reality show, "Living Lohan," will premiere this summer. It will feature ma Lohan shepherding her 14-year-old daughter, Ali, from the suburbs of New York to the hubbub of Hollywood, all so Ali can "try to follow in her big sister's famous footsteps."

I am offended. White girls should not be making RAP music. YES, I am very white! My kids listen to it. White folks just don't belong singing that. What is with her Mom? Kinda like Britney's mom writing that parenting book. First she needs to READ one.

Rap music? Those two terms are already diametrically opposed. Add Lindsay Lohan to the mix and that can't be good for anyone. They say 'rap is dead', on the off chance this has not yet occurred, this plan will certainly be the final push it needs. You go, girl!

What's the big deal? Let her go for it. She has a lot of talent and who are we to judge anyone? Who cares if they are black or white? You know what would happen to a white person if they said that certain music only belonged to "whites"? Besides, remember the Beastie Boys? They were the original famous rap-boys---OOPS! They were white!
