'CSI' Star Busted for Drugs
April 29, 2008 5:25 PM
It's like a storyline from his show, but it won't be over in 60 minutes.
"CSI" star Gary Dourdan (born Gary Robert Durdin) was arrested in Palm Springs, Calif. early Monday on suspicion of possessing heroin, cocaine, ecstasy and prescription drugs, according to a statement from the Palm Springs Police Department. Dourdan was sleeping in a car parked on the wrong side of the street when police found him. After booking, he was released on $5,000 bail.
Dourdan's publicist was not immediately available for comment.
Dourdan has played investigator Warrick Brown on the CBS crime drama since it began in 2000. In July 2007, TMZ.com reported that he attacked a photographer outside a Los Angeles club, slamming him into the pavement several times before chasing him from the scene.

all those drugs and only $5,000 bail. somebody in law enforcement is lying or the person writing this article needs to check his/her sources or he/she is lying. if this is really news get it straight. is that too much to ask?

I always thought he looked and acted alittle stoned (slow) on the show. Just didnt seem to fit the role of the semi-geek role of forensic tech.

"all those drugs and only $5,000 bail. somebody in law enforcement is lying or the person writing this article needs to check his/her sources or he/she is lying."
uh, no dude. he wasn't selling drugs. $5,000 is a lot for a possession charge. no one is lying you moron.

I would love to be in a position where I could have a semi-permanent job in a long lasting TV show. I don't understand an actor who doesn't salt away some of his earnings for the day the series ends.
But to squander all that money and the potential for additional roles for the sake of dope is a thing that just escapes me.
Ironically, a re-run of CSI tonight was about an episode where he was thought to be hooked on drugs.

Finally! Ha! This guy is such a jerk. Punching out innocent bystanders, peeling around in his car, bragging about how he knows every cop and that's why he doesn't get speeding/parking tickets...
Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

SUSPICION of possessing heroin, cocaine, ecstasy and prescription drugs, according to a statement from the Palm Springs Police Department. The word SUSPICION does not mean they actually found all those drugs. SUSPICION of possessing, not POSSESSION.

Thank you AP! Have they proved it yet? ABC should wait until it's confirmed before the paint the negative picture!

This man plays a CSI person on TV, and deals with this. Well if he had these
Drugs on him there goes his career.
And he has only him self to blame for it. And he should be fired from the show.

I THINK HE IS A GREAT GUY. HE PLAYS AN
EXCELLENT ROLE ON CSI & IF THE PRODUCERS FIRED HIM,TO ME THE SHOW WOULD NOT BE THE SAME. HE ALSO IS VERY HANDSOME & TALENTED. SHAME ON ALL OF YOU FOR SAYING HE SHOULD BE FIRED, LOOK AT ALL THE FEMALE ACTRESS' & MALE ACTORS THAT CONTINUE OVER & OVER & BECAUSE THIS GUY GETS ARRESTED ONCE, NOW EVERYONE IS DOWN ON HIM. SHAME ON ALL OF YOU. TRUTH BE KNOWN , MOST OF YOU GUYS WHO HAVE EXPRESSED OPINIONS ARE PROBABLY ON DRUGS YOURSELF.
