Jolie Finally Fesses Up: She's Having Twins

Well, it's about time.
After months of rumors about the soon-to-be newest members of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's brood, Jolie confirmed to "Access Hollywood" that she is indeed pregnant with twins.
During an interview in Cannes, France, where she's promoting "Kung Fu Panda," Jolie's co-star Jack Black said, "You're gonna have as many as [the] Brady Bunch when you have these."
Asked if she is indeed carrying twins, Jolie said, "Yeah, yeah, we've confirmed that already. Well, Jack's just confirmed it actually."
The babies will be the fifth and sixth additions to the A-list couple's clan. Jolie did not reveal her due date.
The actress has stayed tight-lipped about her second pregnancy, but her growing belly's told the whole story. Tabloids and blogs have been on a baby bump watch since she showed up at January's Screen Actors Guild awards in a loose, tent-style dress and avoided alcohol all night. Jolie wordlessly confirmed the rumors when she arrived at February's Independent Spirit Awards in a curve-hugging, belly-highlighting black dress.
Jolie first commented on her pregnancy in April, when she told People magazine that she "felt kicking suddenly" while discussing Iraq education policy at an event in Washington D.C. (In addition to being a mom and an Oscar-winning actress, Jolie's also a U.N. goodwill ambassador.)
The Jolie-Pitt crew currently consists of Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; and Shiloh, Jolie's first child by birth, who turns 2 this month.

RV: How many AMERICAN BABIES have *you* adopted? Until you have adopted, you have no right to judge how families are made. The US foster system is broken. the entire purpose of foster care is reunification with bio parents REGARDLESS of the atocities they have inflicted upon their children. There is not "lots of babies and children" waiting to be adopted in our back yard. There is very few babies/infants and few healthy "children" who have had their bio parents rights terminated. Please educate yourself before you spout nonsense of issues you know nothing about.

Debbie, good point; though I don't know that the piece of paper would make much of a difference. It didn't seem to mean anything when Pitt was married before.

LagunaTriMom, You also make a good point and I do not support the infidelity with which this relationship started. However, now that they are both divorced and have taken on this responsibility, I have to wonder about the long term effects with two parents who seem to think short term.

Re the below the reason you see more twins in hollywood and all around is because the fornicators have so many sexually transmitted diseases that they have miscarrying wombs or are sterile so they have invitro fertilization which because many embryos are implanted into the womb multiple births are the result. In my entire life i have met only 4 pairs of twin. How come that now there is an epidemic of twins in Hollywood. Give me a break. All they want is the status and recognition (and the money) that comes from selling their pictures to people magazine.

The greatest problem confronting humanity is humanity - too much humanity,is gobbling up everything and leaving its excretions everywhere.
Earth needs one child per couple , not ten. What is she thinking the future holds for her children in the time of energy and food wars. Does she believe that being rich will somehow protect her children from the total collapse of humanity due to too many human beings?

KD: Must've touched a nerve with u....calm down....If our country's adoption/foster care is so 'broken" as you say then why isn't this an issue to try and fix this "broken" system. Perhaps celebrities such as Angelina can get involved. It's sad, YES that there are children around the world who r put up for adoption for WHATEVER reason. No...I have not adopted, however i have a few close friends who have and never encountered any problems. All I'm saying.....let's not forget about our country and if this adoption/foster system we have in place is broken, then someone needs to find a way to fix it. KD....I nominate you!

SAW: Go adopt domestically, then we will talk. Let me know how that goes. Perhaps we can do it together. Bio parents have all the rights, the innocent children have none. There is a huge misnomer that there are all these children here that are available for adoption. There are not. Unless you are willing to take a child who has been emotionally scared from his early years. Do those children deserve homes? Yup, but it takes a special person to take on the challenge. Perhaps you are up for it?
And you are damn right you touched a nerve. We have adopted internationally twice and how dare someone who has not opened their home and heart to a non biologically related child judge someone, anyone who has.
No one judges people who have their own biological children. I mean why aren't people spouting off "Why are they so selfish to breed when there are sooo many babies and children in our own backyards...." And I have 2 bio babies as well.

If the media would stop the "baby bump" watches and making a circus out of every single pregnancy that occurs to anyone even remotely famous in Hollywood, perhaps there would be less of a pregnancy epidemic.
Why does it matter if Angelina and Brad wish to have a large family, combining adopted kids with biological? And their choice of adopting from another country shouldn't matter either. They're people - just like you and I - but with larger bank accounts and better connections - that's all. They make their own choices and no one else should judge them based on what they choose to do with their family.
