New Nominee's Wife to Share Her 'View'
June 04, 2008 7:12 PM
By clinching the Democratic nomination for President, Barack Obama proved he can withstand harsh critics, fierce competitors and probing press.
But can his wife Michelle do the same?
The wife of the newly named presumptive Democratic nominee will co-host ABC's "The View" live June 18. While her husband spent more than a year going toe-to-toe with one woman, Hillary Clinton, Obama will be surrounded by five -- Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd.
"The View" has become an '08 campaign trail pit stop in the past year: John and Cindy McCain made separate appearances on the show in April; Obama first sat down with the ladies in March. Hillary Clinton was on the show in 2007 but has not appeared this year. Republican hopeful Ron Paul dropped by the show last December before dropping out of the race.
Mrs. Obama's appearance on the show will, of course, explore her husband's run toward the November election. But Obama himself -- not the election -- was the hot topic when he was on the show back in March, when Walters called him "sexy."

How gives a rip about a bunch of women that turned their back on Hillary!
The only one on that show now with any dignity left is Elizabeth!

Oh like yeah, well- this bunch of poor excuses for females and all of them so partial to obama, are going to ask his white hating wife personal questions?
Right -
What will happen is they will all go prone at her feet - she expects that now.
This is hysterical - the 5 pushers of obama are going to ask his wife strong questions.
Pardon me, I laughed so hard I need to be excused for a moment.
This is really funny. I guess they want their ratings improved
This group of talking hens never lets the other say anything and they all talk over each other. How in the hell can you even hear what they are talking about.
I thought you might have meant some real journalist might want to talk to her, but I guess any journalist worth his salt will stay away because they will get called racist if they utter the wrong vowel.

Michelle can try all she wants to appear like an all american patriotic gal, but we all know the truth.
That tape of her bashing evil America and evil whites sitting next to Farrakhan's wife is just sitting out there in a vault somewhere ready for an August-September release.
And then it's all downhill for the Obamas. yeeeeehaw.

Krissy K,
You are right.
Sherry Shepard said it again today that she was so happy to see the first AA nominee for president.
She called her ex husband to be a president also.
That Joy Behar is disgusting, she threw Hillary many times.
Only Elizabeth Hasselbeck still back Hillary even she is with McCain.
