Trump: Hathaway's the Con, Not Follieri

The story behind Anne Hathaway's split with recently arrested Italian businessman Raffaello Follieri has everyone buzzing. That includes multi-billion dollar real estate tycoon Donald Trump, who lashed out at the starlet.
"After [his legal troubles] she was gone … and fast!," Trump said in a statement issued by his publicist to ABCNEWS.com. "Sadly, that seems to be the way life works."
The couple, who had been together since 2005, reportedly called it quits just days before the arrest of the Italian businessman and the premiere of Hathaway’s new movie, “Get Smart.” According to The Associated Press, Follieri allegedly spent millions of dollars of investors' money on his posh lifestlye, including an apartment in Trump Towers.
“She hasn’t remained very loyal to him, has she?” Trump added in an interview with Access Hollywood. “So when he had plenty of money, she liked him, but then after that, not as good, right?”
Hathaway’s representative declined to comment. But the actress' latest film, “Get Smart” was the No. 1 movie at the box office the weekend it opened, raking in close to $40 million. She's now busy filming a new flick, “Bride Wars,” with Kate Hudson. Considering her big screen success and the paychecks that come with it, does it really seem like the "Devil Wears Prada" star dated Follieri for three years because of his money? Or should Trump lay off her because she probably just "got smart?"

Why would she be loyal to him after finding his money came from ripping other people off? Clearly no one who would associate with D. Trump should have a problem with that or they wouldn't be hanging out with D. Trump.

Once again, Trump shows how big an ass he is. Since he uses his money to buy women, he thinks he can pop off about Ms Hathaway ending a relationship with a crook. He must believe that because he has to buy all his women that all relationships are similary based. Get a life Donny boy. Not all women are as shallow as the one you date.

Trump is just mad because he is no longer getting some of Follieri's cash. I'll bet he is also upset that Anne dumped this dude because if she was standing by her "man" maybe she would continue to pay for the apartment in Trump towers?
Trump has no respect for any woman, let alone one who is smarter than he is. He marries those who show proper obedience and adoration, but as soon as he gets bored he is off with someone else. Then he wonders why his wives divorce HIM?
He sees himself as the emperor of the world where women only exist to do his bidding. And the rest of us "peasants" are just wind whistling through his ears.

Anne may just be the sharpest knife in the drawer! she has kept her nose clean and is making a beautiful career for herself.
She bailed when she knew the truth and apparently knows the definition of accessory.....and i dont mean from Devil wears Prada!

If Trump, who's been married many times, thinks it's okay to live a life of deceit, that's his business. But Hathaway's judgement that it wasn't acceptable was the right thing to do. Trump should learn a lesson; it was about principles and not about the money.

She did the right thing. After she found out what a crook this guy was she dumped him. Good for her. Trump is always looking for something or someone to put him in the spotlight. Also, who cares what he thinks!
