New Bin Laden Audio Tape: Osama Speaks on the Death of Zarqawi
June 28, 2006 5:08 PM
A new Osama bin Laden audio is expected to be released within three days. On the tape, bin Laden will talk about the death of Abu Musab Zarqawi. More details to come.
The audio is about 5 minutes in length. This is the fourth time we have heard an audio message from bin Laden this year. The last time we heard from him was following the sentencing of Zacarias Moussaoui for the 9/11 attacks. Bin Laden claimed that he had not assigned Moussaoui to be a part of the attacks.
That tape came 19 days after the sentencing of Moussaoui and was considered a quick turnaround for one of his tapes, which are believed to pass through numerous couriers on their way to Al Jazeera network.
The news of Zarqawi's death came three weeks ago on June 8.

Uhhh... How do these reporters know a tape will be released in 3 days? "On the tape, bin Laden 'will' talk about..."? How do they know what will be on a tape by bin Laden that apparently hasn't even been released, let alone recorded yet???

Who cares.
Peace be upon me.

when are we going to get this guy? what do you think is the delay?
Posted by: joshua | Jun 28, 2006 6:26:58 PM
He continues to get messages to us... when are we going to get a message to him?

Is he going to beg for truce again like he, Zarqawi and Zawahri already have?
I liked Bush's answer.

Funny. They can track down 7 terrorists who apparently wanted to blow up the Sears Tower from Miami with no supplies, yet Bin Laden still roams free.

Why does Osama still use audio tape? Doesn't he know how to burn a CD?

Excellent questions Eric! They even know the tape is 5 minutes long... sounds to me someone at ABC is verrrry close to a friend of bin laden's.

Eric makes a good point. BETTER point though, if they know this stuff, why don't they know where he is then?

I guessed that viewing himself as a leader, he would see a need for an immediate response to the death of Zarqawi. I'd hoped that in his rush to respond he would take a shortcut and be located.
Here's hoping I guessed right.

How many American lives need to take one bin Laden? We're now nearing 3,000 and counting.

He is hiding like a scared child. That is why we can not find him. Let him continue hiding.

well...if we caught him where would that put the "war on terror"? It'd be all but over. Then the government would have to give all that power back, we couldn't have that....could we?

This is proof our SOF/Police tactics do not work. We need to make foreign language training mandatory in our high school classrooms and build military intelligence networks where cockroaches like this Osama murderer can be ferreted out no matter where they hide. We need to overhaul our military and build a new fighting force for the next century of must have military actions. This is the new frontier in warfare and education, and the only way we will ever build a potent response is to increase our education of other cultures and languages. No military promotions unless fluency in languages can be demonstrated both in college and the military. Get rid of useless educators who are nothing but propenents for the New Left. Radioactive dust is the eventual alternative. Educate America that the only way to fight this hate is by learning and reacting.

Why are we even hearing from this psychopath? I don't want to see another tape...the only thing I want to see is his dead face like we did Zarqawi's.

It's good to see people starting to ask important questions about the well times release of these "bin laden tapes." Indeed, how do reporters KNOW a tape is on the way?? Did he send them a telegram??? Looks more and more like Bin Laden is the boogie man our government needs to remind people why they should be afraid. I'm starting to wonder WHO is actually making these tapes.

When we were attacked at Pearl Harbor there wasn't anywhere in the world we didn't go to get the bad guys. So why are we stopping at the Pakastani border to get bin Laden, or any other border for that matter? Let's do whatever it takes to find his turbanned excellence, wherever he's hiding, then nuke him out of his hole.
