U.S. Catches Accused Child Sex Ring Boss
June 21, 2006 2:24 PM
U.S. authorities are holding a Los Angeles man wanted in Mexico for allegedly running a child sex ring operating in the resort city of Cancun.
Succar Kuri, a Mexican citizen who lived in California, was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Arizona on an international arrest warrant issued by Mexican police.
Kuri had fled the country after he was recorded on an undercover tape describing his delight in having sex with young virgins.
From his jail cell, Kuri told ABC News the tape was faked and he is not a pedophile. Any sex he had with young girls was not illegal and was consensual.
Authorities say Kuri would lure poor children to a hotel he owned in Cancun, promising them a swim in the pool and then take them to the hotel's rooms for sex.
"He would take photos of them and send them to Los Angeles where they were posted on a website," says Lydia Cacho, a Mexican journalist and activist who investigated Kuri for a book on Cancun.
"He would bring American tourists to have sex with kids," she says.
Cacho's investigation has put her into legal peril in Mexico. An associate of Kuri, named in Cacho's book, has filed criminal defamation charges against her.
She faces a possible two-year prison sentence if found guilty of defamation.

I have been watching the Dateline specials on pedophiles and I am shocked at the high number of pedophiles that seem to be so open about it on video and why does there seem to be an increased number of pedopholes compared to 30 or 40 years ago.
Doesn't the country belief it is time to make treatment more acessible for these troubled people. This needs to be the focus of our nation not trying to ban gay marriage. This is the important issue.

how can that filthy so-and-so get away with that, and the women who was trying to prevent it be in trouble? wow that is crazy to me

I think this man should get the death penalty, actually I think every sexual preditor should get the death penalty. Anyone who would do something to hurt children deserves death, why should we let them out just to be repeat offenders and ruin countless more lives. Men like this are sick and don't deserve to see the light of day.

I HOPE THEY HANG THAT SUCKER. OUR COUNTRY HAS BEEN IN DENIAL THAT CHILD SEX RINGS ARE HUGE AND THE SENTENCES DON'T MATCH THE CRIME. THEY ARE OUT OF PRISON IN NO TIME AND GO BACK TO EXPLOITING CHILDREN. I THINK THEY SHOULD ALL BE GIVEN LIFE WITHOUT PAROLE. I WORKED WHERE I HEARD STORY AFTER STORY OF GIRLS THAT HAD BEEN MOLESTED BY FAMILY FRIENDS AND RELATIVES AND LET ME TELL YOU, IT DESTROYED THEIR LIVES FOREVER. IT'S TIME TO GET TOUGH, REAL TOUGH!!

I HOPE THE SICK PERVERTS THAT EXPLOIT CHILDREN ARE LOCKED AWAY FOR LONGER THAN THEY HAVE YEARS. ANYONE THAT HURTS A CHILD SEXUALLY DESERVES ANY MERCY. I KNOW MANY GIRLS MOLESTED BY FRIENDS AND RELATIVES AND THEIR LIVES ARE RUINED FOREVER. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THOSE SICKOS? THE CHANCES OF THEM BEING CURED IS NIL AND TO SELL THOSE POOR KIDS LIKE CHILD SLAVES DESERVES THE HARSHEST PUNISHMENT. OUR GOVERNMENT LIKES TO THINK THIS HAPPENS EVERYWHERE ELSE BUT NOT IN THE USA. WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE AND GIVE THOSE GUYS SENTENCES THAT THEY DESERVE.

I can't believe this is a real life movie like Human Trafficking! What are these people thinking of taking advantage of these innocent kids, who don't know any better. They are not educated like US citizens. About the dangers that you can be lured into. A huge scandal like this, I am estactic to know they catch one of many. I hope they catch them all and get justice for all the victims.

What is the matter with these scumbags and where are the parents of those innocent kids? The parents hear stories of what can happen to their children but they seem indifferent about their children's safety. After the offenders are caught most of the time the court just slaps their hand and lets them get away with it again.

The United States Government needs to pay more attention to issue's such as this! Human Trafficng is a world wide issue, our Govenment along with several others should be ashammed of themselves for putting other issues with less importance as this first.
Our children need to be saved and more could be helping them, as they (the Governement) has the power and could definatley take the time and money to do so!

I CAN NOT BELEIVE THIS GUY IS ONLY GOING TO GET THAT SHORT OF SENTENCE FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE TO INNOCENT CHILDREN. AND YOU KNOW WHAT THE TIRED ASS SYSTEM IS TO BLAME FOR IT. I HOPE WHOEVER LETS THIS GUY END UP ONLY DOING A SHORT TIME FOR THIS CRIME ENDS UP IN HELL BECAUSE THAT IS WHERE THEY BELONG. FOR THIS SICK MAN I HOPE YOU NEVER LIVE TO SEE ANOTHER DAY!

There are women sex offenders as well as men, but the majority of them seem to be sick, depraved, perveted men. Usually when women offend, it is a teacher or something and many of the boys go for a hot teacher. But the men kidnap, rape, torture, and many times murder innocent, young girls, sometimes babies. There is really something wrong with many of the men in this society in their view of sex and women -- it is completed distorted and over rated. Men ought to be ashamed for the things they do in the world, and they need to wake up.

There aren't more pedophiles, per se, it's that we're more aware and there are more media outlets for them to use. People are also much less scared or reluctant to talk about sexual abuse than they used to be, which is another reason every time we turn around there's another story.
It's disgusting, it's real, and it's everywhere.

Instead of the Government focusing on the U.S. Soldiers, who allegedly murdered people during a time of war. Why doesn' the government focus on children being abused, by adults who have no remorse for their actions, they ruin countless lives, and these children do not have a fair chance at life once they have been abused in such a terrible manner. The Government has life twisted and confused.

Death Penalty?!? Are you people insane. Was a childs life ended no, they continue to breath. I do not condone what this man did OR DID NOT do. If he did it then a long prison term is mandatory but do not be so willing to snuff out the life of a human being over this. The death penalty is reserved for the worst of crimes.

Get used to it. It is only going to get worse. We say that pornography is ok, that it doesn't hurt anyone. Tell that to the children that this sick man has molested. As our country moves farther and farther away from God, our morality will degrade more and more. Soon, this will be the norm and we will no longer be shocked. We will start saying things like 'He can't help it, he was born that way, it's in his genes to want to have sex with children.' 'You can't blame him.' God help us.

There is way too much sexual exploitatin of children in the country. If these sickos only knew the damage they cause, these kids are never the same, I see sexual abuse as our nation's number 1 enemy. We need to set our priorities and help these defenseless children.
Posted by: Diana | Jun 21, 2006 11:28:39 PM
time and time again we hear of some man snatching the innoncence of a child. I agree the death penalty is not needed, but something needs to be done to get the message out to pedophiles that there will be serious consequences for these kind of actions. you have take into account the young innocent victims, whose lives will never be the same, and from here on out may never have a normal childhood, because some sick demented man took away their rob them of their innocence.
Posted by: Telly | Jun 22, 2006 1:24:34 AM
This coward, this pervert who robs the childhood from these kids should have his comfort and security taken away; his name and face should be known to all who come across him for the rest of his life.Yet the same should hold for the demons who need only to go to Mexico or Thailand or anywhere people can be bought and sold for the price of a meal. They should be branded across their foreheads.

The sexual exploitation of children is sickening and criminal, but the ACLU fights to protect organizations like the "MAN BOY" organization.
Where are all of you idealists when it comes to protecting the rights of babies in utero. Living, kicking moving babies, brutally killed by dismemberment, legally. Some of them survive and later comment how no one fought for their right to live. Babies, 4,000 per day are killed.

I feel we should round up all the pedophiles, and send them to the front lines in iraq!
