New Al Qaeda Tape Released
July 06, 2006 10:06 AM
Al Qaeda has released a new video tape featuring Shehzad Tanweer, one of the suicide bombers from last year's London attacks, according to Ben Venske at the IntelCenter. The tape also features a new statement from the al Qaeda No. 2 leader Ayman al-Zawahiri.
Al Jazeera began airing the tape today. The full tape is also expected to include former Californian Adam Gadahn, who now goes by the name of Azzam al-Amriki. Gadahn is believed by U.S. authorities to be running the al Qaeda propaganda operation from a secret location somewhere inside of Pakistan.
Release of the tape the day before the London anniversary bombings suggest that al Qaeda had a significant role in the attacks which killed 52 and injured hundreds.
More details to come...

It would be helpful to undermine any powers that terrorists are able to use. One of the main resources Bin Laden has is his ability to captivate the media. This is understandable in the middle eastern media, but in the U.S. media there should be a complete disregard for anything this proven pathological and inhuman barbaric individual has to say. When he thinks to promote his ideas via the international media, the U.S. and other civilized media should announce something to the effect of, "A tape has been released from the source of some of the most inhumane and tyrannical actions in human history. In the past we have reported on the details of such pronouncements from this individual, but upon further evaluation of the effect of this reporting, we have determined that what this individual has to say is pure venom, psychotic, and anti-human, and within his messages there is an obvious lack of understanding of the human condition. Therefore, we will no longer publish or report on the details of such releases to the media from him or other terrorists."
