USS Cole Mastermind Caught After Escaping From Jail

July 05, 2006 7:07 PM

Cole_nrThe alleged mastermind of the USS Cole bombing, Jamal Badawi, who had escaped from prison in Yemen, has been caught again according to U.S. law enforcement sources.

Badawi, along with 22 others, had escaped from jail in February through an underground tunnel. The prisoners were believed to have help from both inside and outside the prison to dig the 460-foot tunnel.

Badawi was convicted in the October 2000 bombing of the USS Cole that killed 17 sailors. He was serving a 10-year sentence.

They probably did have help. Help and some "turned blind eyes". Really, that many and such important prisoners, using an idea from an old World War II movie?!? Gads! I'd see that one from 460 miles away. My guess would be tracking devices installed in the buttocks.
(Take me to your leaders, goofballs!)
Sound too outrageous? Sounds ingenious to me. "What's the frequency, Kenneth?"

How about routinely using a pile-driver arounn the perimeter to cave in any tunnels?

Why not tell us where he was caught?
BTW, there are simple sonic devices to detect tunnelling.

I've been telling people about the GPS implants for years. Hell, they can find a bird halfway around the world - why not implant the vermon at Gitmo, let'em out to appease the libs and then follow into their cave with a 500 lb bomb. You have to think our guys have thought of that one already !!!!

One shot to the head and Jamal wouldn't escape from prison again.
