Another OBL Message Coming Soon

July 21, 2006 11:04 AM

Abc_wnt_binladen_060423_nr_5A new Osama bin Laden message from al Qaeda's as-Sahab Institute for Media Production is to be released soon, according to IntelCenter, a private contractor providing counterterrorism support work to the intelligence community.

In his message, bin Laden will reportedly address events in Gaza and Lebanon. This message has been expected and is consistent with new efforts in 2006 by al Qaeda's senior leadership to be responsive in their messages to current developments.

::Yawn:: Just another example of OBL whining up from whatever snake hole he hides in to say, "Hey guys...don't forget about me! C'mon...I'm not getting enough attention!" Must be pretty lonely not being able to show your face in public. As far as I am concerned, his neutralization is just as good as a life sentence. However....one day...we will nail him!

OBL should save his so-called messages for his therapist. He's one messed up individual who seems to attract similarly messed up losers to his "crusade". Whatta jerk. If he can't say anything nice, he should try not saying anything at all. Better yet, he should tell his followers to go home, take showers, and find real jobs.

why is it that they never link to these so-called terrorist web sites? are these make believe web sites or what?

If they are talking about it before it even gets released, there should be serious concern about the timing and possible event. Now is the perfect time for AQ to execute on any plan they may have prepared. If his goal is to ignite the Islamic world, with Israel's advance into Lebanon, a strike from Bin Laden and the events that would follow would surely start a regional war including whatever country is struck and its allies. We should have serious concern. Nostradamus predicted a destructive event for NYC in August, and he has been off on the years. I feel like this year is a high likelihood with Iran posting Aug 22 as the date it will respond to the UN. I believe Iran will respond with a nuclear test or a strike. Israel will respond to any destructive attack on it, with nuclear. This will change the scenario completely, send Pakistan into revolution, and send us towards WW3 a few years after a preliminary smaller war with Iran. Tough times ahead folks.

And you believe this crap right?

Maybe his message will voice for support for Hezbollah despite Zarqawi's outspoken antithesis of the group.

Also interesting that Saddam Hussein just relelased a message to the American people.

Oh my god...Someone still believes that these messages are from bin Laden..Give it up..Bin Laden is dead from kidney failure three years ago.(reported from pakistan and fox).I have had enough lying from media ..Wonder how much abc and other media is getting for printing this..I really thought, when orange alert swarm, swarm everytime bush wanted his polls to rise was proven false this crap would stop..I guess they think most of us are dumb..Well we are not..

What websites are advertising that a message is comming?
Why is it that these websites are never named so that independant confirmation can be exercised.
Seems to me that OBL "appearances" are too convenient for those who wish to continue the US presence in the Middle East

BIN LADEN IS DEAD!!!!!

Remember that when one of these audio tapes and very poor fake video tapes pop up at oh so convenient times. REMEMBER TO ASK YOURSELF......WHO BENEFITS?!?!?!?

You guys are hawking this like a premiere for one of your Fall shows. Who give a c**p - besides you guys - that this guy is coming out with a new message?

You think maybe you could see your way clear to being on OUR SIDE for a change????

Posted by: BWP | Jul 21, 2006 12:11:33 PM

Who cares? This guy is worthless.

Posted by: noway | Jul 21, 2006 12:14:13 PM

ABC please do your own research and stop trying to scare the hell out of people with a dead guy. You know he's dead, so does Bush.

Stop dragging OBL out of the closet every time you need a boogie man to shill for more war. Or go fight it your damn selves...my family is tired of the misuse of our military.
News for the Media:
The Central Intelligence Agency has closed a unit that for a decade had the mission of hunting Osama bin Laden and his top lieutenants, intelligence officials confirmed Monday. The unit, known as Alec Station, was disbanded late last year and its analysts reassigned within the C.I.A. Counterterrorist Center, the officials said. [New York Times 07/03/06]
Israel does not view bin Laden as a threat. [Janes]
Israeli sources said Israel and the United States assess that Bin Laden probably died in the U.S. military campaign in Afghanistan in December. They said the emergence of new messages by Bin Laden are probably fabrications, Middle East Newsline reported. [World Tribune]

Notice how you always refer to OBL tapes as "alleged to be" I'm not laughing anymore, the ruse is over-no wonder your numbers are down...we tire of the myth you perpetrate.

If you want to get an overview of the war in the middle east and where it is going, read Genesis chapter 10, and the map of an NIV bible with an overlay of today's names of contris. Then read Ezekiel chapters 38 & 39 slowly. Then read the Drudge Report on the web with links to current events.

At least George Bush doesn't live in a hole in the ground as do Osma, Saddam, and and the leader in south Lebanon.

IntelCenter should be throughly investigated. My guess is they have some nefarious ties to the propaganda operations coming out of the Pentagon.

As for Brian Ross, he works for a network that has been described as a CIA disinformation outlet. This man should also be thoroughly investigated.

As for all of my fellow Americans who believe that these tapes are authentic, you're being lied to.

Posted by: John | Jul 21, 2006 12:23:56 PM

who cares?

Posted by: dave | Jul 21, 2006 12:27:24 PM

Why not show a video? Because maybe, just maybe he is not around anymore. It is not difficult to fake a voice. If he were alive, videos out the wazzoo would be coming out used for propaganda. Of course the media never talks about that. That's not in their template.

If NSA can vacuum everything, what's the problem with:

A. Tracking the origin of the message;

B. Determining, before the hostilities broke out, what was going on with "external support" for Hezbollah?

I'm walking away with two adverse conclusions:

1. The NSA has no information about Iranian-Syrian direct support of Hezbollah, as the President has not mentioned this; rather, he simply pointed to what Syria (paraphrasing) "might" do to put pressure on Hezbollah; and

2. We're not getting a straight story why (apparently) Bin Laden is able to communicate, but nobody seems to be able to find how his words first enter the internet. Either he's alive and exists in physical space; or he is a ruse. The lack of a trace casts doubts about the excuses for failing to find him.
