Gel-filled Bras Now Permitted on Board

Gel-filled bras are now on the TSA web site's list of items permitted on board to "ensure the health and welfare of certain air travelers." The bras are on the same list as various prescription and non-prescription drugs, life support liquids and baby formula.
However, all other liquids, gels, lotions and other items of similar consistency are still prohibited on board. Additionally, liquids, gels and lotions purchased beyond the checkpoint are to be disposed of before boarding the aircraft.
THE BLOTTER RECOMMENDS
A spokeswoman for TSA said today the gel bra is an item that needed clarification since the list of prohibited items expanded due to the U.K. terror plot scare on Aug. 10. "If intelligence indicates we can safely allow a specific item on board an aircraft, then we will do so."

The TSA leadership has been chasing its tail since the beginning, they have no clue what items could take down an aircraft so an indivdual who sits behind a desk and has no real life experiences think they know everything because they read it in a book somewhere makes up this list which I might add "is not all inclusive" to justify their paychecks each pay day. If the TSA management had listen to the original Mobile Screening Force in regards to the prohibited items list they would not be chasing their tails at this point. Question for Mr. Ross, how many of the original personnel are still with TSA and why did they leave?

Ok Brian, as a follow-up to Dan's question ..... How about publishing the Mobile Screening Force's original list of prohibited items. Let's see what the fuss was all about in the first place and why it was not considered for implementation? and let's compare it to the TSA's "today's" current prohibited list.

Wouldn't you think by now those individuals making decision of our safety would use common sense?
What ever information they apparently know about “terrorist” they would do what ever it is necessary to keep our safety for everyone.
Why questioned the fact of the obvious material or instruments that could and will bring bodily harm to anyone? Why play with lives aboard a weapon that is flying in the air?
Isn’t obvious by now that those individuals that took control of a several commercial plane's wasn’t this a significant sign that anything is possible?
