Former Page Interviewed by the FBI

October 10, 2006 5:43 PM

Jordan_nrFormer congressional page Jordan Edmund spent two-and-a-half hours today talking with the FBI and answering questions about Mark Foley, his lawyer says.

Attorney Stephen Jones says his client answered all of the FBI's questions to the fullest and was not asked to return.  Jones says his client was not served with a subpoena.

The interview took place in Oklahoma City, where the young man now works as deputy campaign manager for the Republican candidate for governor.

Jones also said he was contacted this morning by the House Ethics Committee.

The committee is expected to hear testimony tomorrow from former Foley aide Kirk Fordham, who claims he first reported Foley's inappropriate conduct to House Speaker Dennis Hastert's office in 2003.

ABC News' Avni Patel contributed to this report.

Wait just a minute I recall back in 2002 at a meeting with Foley that both Mario Diaz-Balart and Ileana Ros-Lehtinen warned FOLEY to slow down on the boy toy thing so why aren't they being investigated they knew as did the Majority in the House.

on this week with george, he asked a Democrat if he had knowledge of foley's emails. he responded that he had not seen them. he repeated not seeing them 3 times; however, he didn't say he did NOT have knowledge. was this statement made in order not to expose himself and others.

ABC, we know you have more IM transcripts. Why haven't you published them? What are you waiting for?
