Al Qaeda Sends a Message to Democrats

December 22, 2006 2:28 PM

New_tape_nr_1Al Qaeda has sent a message to leaders of the Democratic party that credit for the defeat of congressional Republicans belongs to the terrorists.

In a portion of the tape from al Qaeda No. 2 man, Ayman al Zawahri, made available only today, Zawahri says he has two messages for American Democrats.

"The first is that you aren't the ones who won the midterm elections, nor are the Republicans the ones who lost. Rather, the Mujahideen -- the Muslim Ummah's vanguard in Afghanistan and Iraq -- are the ones who won, and the American forces and their Crusader allies are the ones who lost," Zawahri said, according to a full transcript obtained by ABC News.

Zawahri calls on the Democrats to negotiate with him and Osama bin Laden, not others in the Islamic world who Zawahri says cannot help.

"And if you don't refrain from the foolish American policy of backing Israel, occupying the lands of Islam and stealing the treasures of the Muslims, then await the same fate," he said.

Well Dems, it's your time to shine. Let the negotiatons begin.

Surprised he didn't send a "thank you" note to the Dems for doing everything they could to lose the war against the terrorists

Makes you want to vote democratic, doesn't it?

Just think, the main stream media, democrats and Al Quaeda all teamed up to control this past election cycle.

I bet some Democrats will write letters thanking Al Qaeda, with words of encouragement telling them to keep up the good work. That I WOULD NOT be surprised at...pathetic

The sad fact is that some Democrats will actually be inclined to negotiate with these barbarians since they don't yey realize that the West is in a battle with these people for survival of civilization.

Why is this news? Anyone with half a brain knows that a democratic victory is a huge victory for the terrorists.
Americans will get what they deserve for siding with the democrats and al-Queada in the november elections.

So those of us who said a vote for the Democrats was a vote for the terrorists weren't so nuts after all.

I won't hold my breath waiting for liberals to apologize or accept that they were naive.

Silly terrorists. You haven't won a thing, Bush is still in charge for two more years, US policy towards terrorists hasn't changed. What exactly have you won?

Posted by: Brian S | Dec 22, 2006 3:07:17 PM

Oh darn. Now I am REALLY scared.................................................................NOT!

Posted by: Jim | Dec 22, 2006 3:07:17 PM

What a team.

Posted by: Mark | Dec 22, 2006 3:07:21 PM

Shocked! I am SHOCKED that the terrorists feel they have a better chance with Democrats than Republicans! Unheard of! Where would they get such an idea?

Wait a sec, I just laughed diet pepsi out my nose....

They are somewhat right, but they
couldn't have done it without the help of the NY Times, CNN, John Murtha, Nancy Pelosi, ABC, CBS, NBC, et.al.

A change in US tactics was what was needed, not unrelenting demonization and criticism without substantive solutins being offered.

RUSH WAS RIGHT!

I can't help but laugh - I am sure the liberal Democrats will jump on the opportunity to work out a deal with Al Qaeda for an exit strategy
