Congressman Jim Kolbe Testifies Before House Ethics Committee

Rhonda Schwartz Reports:

Kolbe_nr_2 Congressman Jim Kolbe (R-Ariz.) appeared before the House Ethics Committee in late November, sources with knowledge of the investigation told ABC News.

Kolbe is believed to have testified that sometime in early 2000, a congressional page from Kolbe's home district of Arizona, asked for help from Kolbe in dealing with inappropriate e-mail contact from then-Congressman Mark Foley.

Kolbe passed the complaint to Foley's office and the clerk of the House at the time and assumed the matter was resolved, a spokeswoman for Kolbe's office told ABC News.

The spokeswoman said today, "I can confirm that Congressman Kolbe testified before the Ethics Committee at the end of November. However, the nature of the testimony is subject to the Committee's rules of non-disclosure."

So ANOTHER secret gay GOP conressman is involved in the FOLEY predator cover-up?

Why is the media keeping this quiet?

Are there really THAT many closet queens who are leading phoney public lives at the networks?
Honesty? Truth? Can the media be trusted?
At least Vanity Fair did article on the disgusting Foley rise to power? any one else? Not yet (3 mons. later)!

I looked on the web this morning for anything directly related to the Mark Foley case and this URL was all I could find with any recent info. The FBI Launched it's Probe in October but no action can be seen.

The GOP and the Democrats don't want full blown public hearings becuase they may not be able to control what comes out. I dubt Mark Foley will go to jail. The Mark Foley case will fade from Public view becuase the story is not in our face every day.

I would not be suprised if there's a secret Pedophile ring in Congress or the Senate...I'd believe that before WMD!

More Congressman are convicted felons by proportion than the average fortune 500 company. Many more.
