Al Qaeda in Egypt Leader Calls for Attacks On Women and Children

June 25, 2007 11:53 AM

Hoda Osman and Maddy Sauer Report:

Alqaedainegy_mn_2 The Egyptian militant who leads the group he calls "Al Qaeda in Egypt" has called for his followers to launch attacks in Egypt to "strike against all Zionist-Crusader targets" there, including women and children.

The statement of Mohammed Khalil al Hakayma, who is wanted by the United States, is dated yesterday and has been posted on numerous jihadi Web sites.

"Rise up and pluck out the Zionist presence in Egypt," he says. "Rise up and inflame a war on them everywhere. Do not differentiate between a military and a civilian person. As they struck against our women and children, we will kill their women and children."

Last year, Hakayma claimed the Egyptian Islamist group al Gamaa al Islamiya had joined al Qaeda.

The group, which has publicly renounced violence as part of a deal with the Egyptian government, however, issued a strong denial.

Al Hakayma later appeared in a jihadi video criticizing the group and called on its members to join al Qaeda as he says he has.

It is unclear just how much support or how many real followers Hakayma has in Egypt, as Hakayma himself is not believed to be there.

We love death. The United States loves life. That is the difference in us. It is why we will win.....Osama bin Laden

Another real man there, isn't he? Just another rapid dog, in my view.

I guess joining the Cairo PTA is pretty much out of the question for this numbskull...

I don't these people have a real grasp on something I like to call "reality". They seem to think they can ultimately win by spewing their hate and enticing people to kill others in the name of their ugly version of God. What will happen in the end is someone will do something so heinous millions and millions of innocent and not so innocent Muslims will die.

It is sad when the dellusions of these radicals can become so mainstream..in the end there may be a radioactive wasteland where there were once countries. They want to bring about the end...they will...the end of their societies and millions of their own people.

I wonder how his wife (if he has one) feels about this. Nothing like putting your family in the firing line and showing that you feel life is cheap. Then again there are other big fish in the world that talk big about sacrifice but sure wouldn't put their kids on the front line. That is very apparent.

Obviously Mohammad-mad Khalil, a major al Qaeda leader, knows how to wage war! Indeed! Khalil knows what "Ol' Coyote" knows: there is no such thing as innocent civilians. The concept of "innocent civilians" in theatres of war is foolish myth and/or naivete.

In World War II, for example, it was civilians in the factories making bombs, tanks and planes. All of the merchant marine seamen who transported the weapons of war to distant battlefields were civilians. It was civilians who invented and tested the A-bomb and the H-bomb. Most of the personnel in the CIA and the NSA and the Pentagon... are civilians. No nation $tate can field a military force without direct or tacit approval from the population. There IS no such thing as "innocent civilians." So... if you want to wage war and win, you've got to be willing to kill as many civilians as possible.

Mr. Khalil is waging war for real; he and his colleagues and associates in al Qaeda intend to win. The United $tates and much of the West do no wage war to win. They wage war for profit... as was the case of Vietnam and now in Iraq-nam.

He will die...and if you do not think that there are millions of innocent civilians throughout the world, in areas where war is being waged, then you are not examining the reality of these situations too clearly...

Mental Health Exams should be given to
sixth graders around the world ... to
weed out those who are mentally ill ...
so they can get treatment before they
become adults.

TRP:
You are right. He is waging war for "real" and we are going to defeat him and al-quieda, we need to be ready to sign up for your so-called "real" war. We need to be prepared to kill tons of their women or children, so ours will not die.

I'm ready to sign that order, and I'll stand before my god (if any) and justify my actions. We will not win by driving around Bagdad in Humvees getting blow up.

We need to start carpet bombing at one end of iraq, and not stop until there is no al-queda left in the country. THEN we can rebuild it as a Japan-like democracy.

The way we're waging it now is doomed!

Agree with S. Wyatt. There is no victory in Iraq for the U.S. as long as we treat these animals with kid gloves. We need to turn Baghdad into a burning inferno as was the case with Germany in WWII. We must break the will and back of Muslims in order to defeat them. When over 1 million Iraqis are laying dead in the street, only then will they consider an alternative way of life. But I think it best to start with Pakistan as they seem to spew more violent, depraved Muslims than any other country.

Alas !
How can some one from "Al Qaeda in Egypt" post such horrible comments and agencies can't fine the posting source?
I don't think any jihadi will have time and audience on internet to issue political statements, especialy if they are not qualified to run for any electorate.

I don't know why this should surprise anyone; it's pretty much status quo for radical Islam to make some moronic statement such as this. What these idiots don't realize is that they are alienating those who might be sympathetic to their cause against Israel (which in some cases has some merit). Islam is a religion that has not yet "matured" as far as its values and ideals. Until they learn to settle differences like intelligent adults, NO ONE (not even people who agree with their cause) is going to listen.

Your comments regarding "Islam is a religion that has not yet "matured" as far as its values and ideals."
Don't blame Islam for muslims to be inefective in settling issues.
Perhaps you don't know that, its not that muslims have more to settle with Israel. Muslims are suffering due to their own mistakes, polarizations and mistrust. Kicking each other from power in Palestine was not foreign hand between Hammas and Fateh. Allied forces have little to do with massacre of over 1600 a month in Iraq, most of the dead are result of internal fight.
Nevertheless posting story like this So called Jihadi gentleman, who is not in Egypt,Yet New paper has this story to print.
It does make sense that, media will cook stories, even if there isn't any Crusher/Halal beef to it?

How can we hope to triumph over a foe who desires death by killing him? Going to war is exactly what Al Qaeda wanted us to do in response to their attacks. They desire death, and we oblige by sacrificing our soldiers as well as anyone near these fiends who have no compunction about hiding and firing from the midst of civilians.

Why is compassion not part of our established curriculum, an inherent part of our education?
Compassion, awe, wonder, humility,-these are the very foundation of any real civilization, no longer the prerogatives, the preserves of any one church, but belonging to everyone, every child in every home, in every school.
This is a quote that Mohandas Gandhi wrote, and is very applicable to the sad state of affairs our world is in today. I am deeply saddened by all of the atrocities. I wish that the goodness that exists in all man, bubbles to the top, thus everyone would marvel at the happiness that would follow.

What a sad and frightening world in which we live.

I will continue to spread peace and love. And if I die by an enemy sword, so be it.

The Koran is nothing but a declaration of war on everything non-Muslim. What don't people understand about that? This idiot, Khalil, needs to be found. Then killed.

Wow what a brave guy, lets go kill women and children boys! We can't stop killing these guys they are a disease on the world!

Al Qeada's idea of courage is to go after women and children instead of people their own size. And yet, these pieces of filth don't understand why Americans call them cowards!

Posted by: jfm | Jul 5, 2007 1:45:47 PM

How cruel these commentators are when they write like "Al Qeada's idea of courage is to go after women and children instead of people their own size. And yet, these pieces of filth don't understand why Americans call them cowards!"
ALQAIDA was and is brain child of America? War on Terrors is based on 911 inside launch pad for bllod thurst for OIL.
I have problem understanding how ignorant or cruel these blogers are?

In war, all sides feel they are right and that their actions are justified. Isreal is the cause of all of this, they are illegally occupying terriroty have forced millions into refugee camps and are killing innocent people. They punish (oh, I mean terrorize) by bulldozing homes. The US supports Israel with money and weapons. Why is it when countries like the US, Israel, Brittan, support each other and we are allies. When Muslims support each other they are terrorists? Is it really any different? If the US wasn't so greedy, didn't support countries like Israel and minded our own business we wouldn't be in situation we are in. These people do not have orginized armies, the guerilla type war they engage in is how they do things. They sacrifice their lives and blow themselves up in the middle of the day, we fly in at 3 a.m. while people are sleeping and bomb civilians. We lie and use illegal weapons like Napalm in Iraq. We commit war crimes, and then when the enemy retaliates we act surprised. I do not support terrorism of ANY kind - I am just able to look at things for what they are. NOBODY is innocent and if the US wasn't supporting Isreal's illegal occupation and genocide, chances are we wouldn't be a target!!! Look at things from a humanitarian perspective and take the politics and propaganda out of it. If people start doing this, perhaps we can begin to make changes.

It wouldn't be very wise to carpet bomb Iraq and killing millions of muslims. For one thing, Osama bin Ladin isn't even in iraq, so would good would that do?
And more importantly, we would finally achieve for the extremist muslims their goal for them! We would cause the rest of the muslim nations around the world to unite against us. pakistan has nuclear technology. they should share this with Iran and any other country that wanted it..and the entire world would be engulfed in a nuclear holocaust. Only a crazy person would advocate carpet bombing another country without regard to civilian casualties.

Take action.
Stop being victims and do something about it rather than ranting on some website.
