Al Qaeda Leader on the Web Again -- Instant Messaging Next?
July 11, 2007 5:36 PM
For the third time in seven days, al Qaeda's No. 2 Dr. Ayman al Zawahri has released a message on the Internet, increasing the anxiety of law enforcement officials who tell ABC News they have already been closely monitoring increased "chatter" on al Qaeda Web sites and message boards this summer.
Today's Internet posting, a four-minute audiotape message in which al Zawahri criticizes Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf's handling of the siege of the Red Mosque in Islamabad, is al Zawahri's tenth message released this year.
The tape carries the logo of "as Sahab" media, an al Qaeda propaganda operation, believed by U.S. intelligence officials to be run by former Orange County California resident Adam Gadahn, who left America to join al Qaeda in Pakistan, as first reported by ABC News last year.
Video Prolific al Zawahri Releases Yet Another Message
U.S. intelligence officials are increasingly concerned about the use of the Internet to send hidden signals to sympathizers and cells around the world from al Qaeda's top leadership, who are believed to be hiding somewhere along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border.
In a tape released yesterday, al Zawahri added to those fears when he spoke directly of searching for information on the Internet, leading officials to worry that wherever the leadership is hiding, apparently they are somewhere with Internet access.

I wish this guy would slip on a banana peel and just go away.

It is obvious that he is residing under the protection of someone's government. Based on that, if and when he is found, that government should be eliminated.

This moron seems to want to be on TV more often than Jon Stewart.
Here's the answer to all our problems with these nuts: You send a large force into the area where these guys are hiding, you kill or capture anything that moves, and when people parade around rallying against our move in these "countries", you drop a daisycutter right in the middle of their riot. That'll put an end to the group and to the idiots rallying against us.
It's so easy!

There is no evidence the voice recorded on the audio is al Zawahri! The 'video' is nothing more than a static image of al Zawahri displayed on the screen while an audio-taped voice message plays in the background. None of the major news organizations have yet to authenticate the voice on the tape. Why does ABCNEWS portray this as an authentic item? Any fool with a computer could put something like this together. Nobody knows WHERE The tape was downloaded from, who uploaded it, NOTHING. The entire population is being deceived by this process. You are a fool if you believe this is real without working to verify it first.

Americans on both sides cannot handle the truth. Truth #1 Clinton failed us with little effort on terrorism. Truth #2 Congress and Bush failed us by not slamming the ridiculous open border shut. How many left and right wingers must lie before we say,"enough already---just say the truth and stop defending your parties failures."

I am an aussie and equally concerned with the way my Govt and your's is handling this terror situation. Pakistan will never stop helping these terrorists they make money from this and like most of those countries they are ruled by their religion. They will serve, protect and help others that have the same beliefs. Our Govt's have let too many into our own countries to ever control it now. I worry about the handshakes Bush and Howard have made, that we don't know about(It makes all of us frightened and worried for the future of our children and grand-children)

Its all about common sense nobody has it any more its all about me and not about us we the people and until we figure this out there is no forward progress in order to do this we have to work together its so simple its kind of dumb because these people in power are supose to be smarter than us and they cant figure it out because they want to get releceted and not do this for the american people? Gosh if i had the money i would run and kick all their butts! prizz.

If you think that any real information is being posted on the net with everybody in the world knowing that the us gov, is monitoring all traffic that they think is terror related you are nuts. these people can do so on any Arabic t.v. or radio station in pre assigned code and it is faster and safer than the net. After all who in the Mideast is really with us and who is against us. do not expect them to tell the truth because as G. Bush has said they hate us.

I am curious as to why, with all of our satellite technology and high tech this and high tech that, that these so called terrorists are able to set roadside bombs in Iraq and suicide bombs when and wherever?
