The problem with the video is that the speaker doesn't look like Osama, doesn't have a voice that SOUNDS like Osama, doesn't compose his thoughts like Osama and doesn't actually confess to ANYTHING. According to experts in Arabic, the U.S. government took improper liberties in translating the comments the ACTOR ! made on tghe tape.

You people are not making the connections. If the video is doctored then it is obvious that we are allowing that to happen. For example, if a student faked a term paper and the professor knowingly allowed that... Well, it is not just the student who is guilty. The mere fact that pentagon affiliations have allowed this crap get absorbed into the media is evidece, alone, that it is done on purpose. This story WAS ORIGINALLY about how the company who brings these videos to the Pentagon and the American people...was adding the As-Sahab logo at the same time as their own logo on these videos...which is curious in and of itself. I wonder why ABC chose to leave that part out of the story? No wait...I forgot. Mainstream media. My bad. ;)

HA! What a joke! It's been known for a long time that many of the videos released by the 'terrorists' are nothing more than re-edited, re-hashed, re-released versions of the same footage. Not to mention the outright fake Bin Laden tapes released. This piece is nothing more than a weak attempt to put people off the trail of the real culprits behind all of these perfectly timed propaganda pieces. For another, the collapse of the freeway ramp caused by the crash of a propane truck in Oakland a few months ago proves that an intense fire can heat steel to the point of softening and losing structural integrity, and that a petroleum fueled fire can be that intense. I could go on, but what's the point? They're going to believe what they want to believe no matter how many facts stand in their way. All they are proving is, to paraphrase an old cliche, "You can lead a fool to knowledge, but you can't make him THINK"!

Because a burning propane truck under a bridge could cause steel to weaken doesn't mean kerosene burning in a skyscraper designed to withstand several jet crashes at once will cause structural failure. Eyewitnesses saw the planes crash into the towers, but that proves nothing about who was piloting the planes and why they were crashed into the WTC, or why there are so many other glaring inconsistencies between the official story and the observed facts. But feel free to go on about it.
