Too bad you folks don't know about the real deal. Kids ARE on the battlefield. These animals send them there. When I served in iraq in 2004, a friend of mine (fellow medic) shot a kid aiming an AK at a fellow soldier... about 11 or 12 years old (the kid was 11-12... the AK was about 25). It ruined him (my friend, that is - the kid died) They sent him home. I've not heard from him since.

Some 7 year old American boy recently gets suspended from school for drawing a picture of a gun in class. On the other side of the planet little Frankie is holding an AK-47 and making a video saying death to America in his madrassa school.

I think nearly every seven year old boy anywhere in the world would love to hold a machine gun. The problem is one culture teaches hate while the other culture is now teaching sensitivity and no losers - everyone is a winner. Don't we all feel better.

The people who are drawn towards fundamentalism are deprived of very important facets of life - love and free will. They are brainwashed into believing they are owned by a religious law and that they need to run the world by the sword. The Christians behaved the same way during the crusades. Of course we dont see them thesedays commiting acts of terror. The Muslims however, never stopped their version of barbaric conversions. I guess the Christians moved on with time but the Muslims are still in the past.

vince, Christianity was able to reform b/c Christians believe the bible is divinely inspired... Islam will never be able to reform b/c Muslims believe the koran is dictated word for word from Allah. That is a huge difference, b/c any Muslim who dares to question a single word in the koran is labled a blasphemer against Allah and Islam, and according to Sharia law, he will be killed. So many ppl do not realize that Islam is more than just a religion: it is a political ideology that strives for, and will ALWAYS strive for, Islamic supremacy world-wide. Do you realize that even in 'moderate' countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia and Jordan that Muslims who dare to try to leave Islam are put to death by the government? Do you realize that by law, in each of the 57 countries in the Organization of Islamic Countries (the OIC) every child that is born is automatically a Muslim? Conversion is not allowed. Muslim women are not allowed to marry a non-Muslim man, according to Sharia law. Educate yourselves, because this is in fact a war of civilizations, and it is going to last many generations to come.
