Major Democratic Donor Faces Charges in Texas
November 20, 2007 1:18 PM
A major Democratic contributor turned himself to authorities yesterday, after he was indicted in Texas on charges of impersonating a police officer and lawyer, the Associated Press reports.
Mauricio Celis has contributed tens of thousands of dollars to Democratic candidates and organizations, including a recent donation to the presidential campaign of Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y.

Money doesn't make you smarter or a good person. It does seem to make you popular in political circles. This guy is living proof. What the hell was he thinking? or more to the point, what has he been smoking? I hope he spends some time impersonating a prisoner for a while.

To this story..Even when investing in political parties with good intention becomes the focus for any election..one begins to see how money is the source for power..infringements, and other diabolical things that are fornicated to override the competition is more than anyone person can handle..Rpublicans do the same thing..but usually they get the money off the backs of businesses..its always been know that Republican is business and Democrat is people..look at history..now if one was to wager a gamble who would you give your bet to..Corporate vs People..and if one says well corporate is people..no big business uses people to siffle, funnel and steal from the people legally blinded by lack of knowledge..I did not know WalMarts supported the Republican Party..nor certain businesses..that just tells me single votes mean very little..so, America hears but doesn't listen to stand directly toe to toe against this type of syndicate..crimes are only for the rich..Remember that..only the rich can pay for they ae a heiarchy stronger today..Apachecheynne

In regard to the CLINTON DONER CHARGED!!! comment. Where have you been all these years. Did you really think ABC was netural? The major news networks' bias to the "left" in the last 15 years made it possible for Fox to get where it is today. In another 15 years, 2 of the 3 majors will be out of business. Their one side reporting will end soon enough.

Celis donated to more than one candidate. That's why he's described as a Democratic donor. You righties can't stand any story unless it can be linked to Hillary Clinton. How sad.
