Web Site: New Bin Laden Tape Will Address Europe

An Islamist Web site often used by al Qaeda says Osama bin Laden will address Europe in a new audiotape to be released soon.
A banner headline on the site says "the Lion Sheikh who defeated the American tyrants" will address the European people.
THE BLOTTER RECOMMENDS
Bin Laden and his followers have repeatedly threatened massive attacks on European cities although none have been carried out.

Let me guess.. He is going to attack Americans again.. Blah blah blah.. I say, if OBL is a man then he will come out of his cave and fight like a man.. Or is he to scared to.. Afraid to die.. He is nothing more then a COWARD.. Sending fools to do his dirty work..

Looks like Bin Laden and Jimmy Cater finally have something in common: both men frequently speak publicly, but no one takes their ramblings seriously anymore.

I believe the translation should be "the Lion Imam," or more likely, the "lion sheikh" (al-sheikh al-asad), a title that has been applied to bin Laden before. The "lion imman" wouldn't mean anything as far as I know, and it doesn't make any sense.
Even the Lion Imam doesn't make sense, as bin Laden has never previously claimed to be an imam. If that really is what the banner claims, then bin Laden is shifting his position to try to have more gravitas in Islamic law.

I don't think these fake tapes are working anymore Mr.Bush. Maybe try a new method like flying a Cessna 172 over NYC with a banner behind it. Or maybe a crop sprayer. What happened to all the media reports of crop sprayers? I miss those.
