WSJ: Giuliani's Secretive Contract With Qatar

November 07, 2007 2:29 PM

Wsjgiulianiss_mn The Wall Street Journal today reports on presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani's secretive consulting firm and a contract with the government of Qatar, to whom the firm provided consulting on security.

The Blotter has previously reported on another one of Giuliani's clients, Purdue Frederick, the drug company that pleaded guilty earlier this year to charges it misled doctors and patients about the addiction risk of the painkiller OxyContin.

Federal officials said the company, Purdue Frederick, helped to trigger a nationwide epidemic of addiction to the time-release painkiller by failing to give early warnings about how easily the drug could be abused. Prosecutors say, "In the process, scores died."

Do you have a tip for Brian Ross and the Investigative Team?

As in the IRAQ war, the one created by a lie in order to perfect profiteering..."In the process, scores died"...

With Rudy, you know that the White House is on sale to the highest bidder. This guy is a crook. He has turned an extremely painful event into his personal power trip. He will never win.

He is such an opportunist! I wouldn't vote for this guy for anything.

Now I know why leaders in a time of war don't stand in front of their troops and yell "charge", you know like the old days. Now-a-days the troops will shoot the leader in the back of the head because this how the people feel about their leaders.

Why is it never mentioned in the News that Rudys' law firm is the one heading the project for THE NORTH AMERICAN COMMUNITY. His firm is buying up all the land that will be needed for the Spanish Group that will own the hugh tollway through the heart of America. Why won't any of the candidates mention that. Maybe they are all parts to it also.

More nonsense from the mainstream media against Republican candidates, while the Clintons get a free pass as to their criminal fund raising activity. You can look forward to lots more of this from biased networks like ABC (see recent Harvard study pointing out the huge bias against Republican candidates and in favor of Democratic candidates in the mainstream media.) Like the other two networks, ABC did the absolute minimum of reporting on the Clinton fund raising scandals, but somehow this nonsense about Rudy makes the news!

And the networks wonder why they are losing ratings!

Guliani, Clinton, Romney, Edwards... it looks like a board meeting, not an election.

"Opportunist, Liar, Profiteer"

Ahh.. but whipping millions into a dooms day frenzy about the earth bursting into flames for political and financial gain is perfectly fine with you all?

Pardon me but your bias is showing.

Politicians are all liars. The almighty Dollar is the prize they are all clamoring for. No matter who they hurt to get to it.
