Blackwater Sues Own Lawyers in Death Suit
January 28, 2008 10:17 AM
The Legal Times is reporting that Blackwater has filed a $30 million malpractice suit against the law firm of Wiley Rien alleging that the firm made costly errors during the time it represented the security firm in a wrongful death suit that was filed by the family members of four employees who were killed in Fallujah, Iraq.
THE BLOTTER RECOMMENDS
In one of the most notorious incidents of the war, the bodies of the four men were dragged through the streets of Fallujah and strung up from a bridge.
The lawsuit is ongoing, and Blackwater is now represented by Greenberg Traurig.

I can't wait for the next hurricane when they'll send Blackwater USA to confiscate everybody's guns, just like they did in New Orleans. But I guess Romney won't mind when his foriegn policy advisor Cofer Black (CEO of Blackwater), profit off those kind of government contracts to do these type of operations in the US. If you think Blackwater is going to keep you safe, your crazy. And Romney's more than willing to cash in and get involved with this type of criminal organization. If he's the nominee, I'm voting Democrat.

The CEO of Blackwater Cofer Black is Mitt Romney's national security adviser. I wonder what Mr. Black will have his thugs do in the US, now that he has a contract to expand his operations here in the US. I can't wait to see what these guys do on America's streets. Be afraid, be very afraid.

So Erik Prince is suing because he's now accountable for something?

'wake up1'
Please cite your source(s) - re Blackwater having a US contract now. - I knew this was coming - Iraq was just their proving ground so President Cheney could see if they would truly follow his orders.
Thanks!!
BW families cannot sue anyone within BW because the 'soldiers' signed a waiver to that effect when they went in.
They could, however sue the Gov for allowing this crap in the first place, but I don't think they'd like waiting in line behind the 911 victim's families, Paul Wellstone's family, the Lockerbie disaster kin, families of everyone murdered on 7-7-05 in London, families murdered in the Madrid train bombing, families of people in NYC unknowingly tested with nerve gas while innocently riding the subway, survivors and kin of the men treated with syphilis in the experiments........

Contray to these comments..... Blackwater are not all thugs. They are to provide security to government officials, or help protect a convoy of trucks delivering supplies to our troops or others working in Afghanistn or Iraq. They are constantly on defence looking for anyone that want to kill the person they are trying to protect. If people approch them in any threating way after they have been ask to stop, they have a split second to make that chose of what to do.....they have been taught to protect at all costs.I repeat they are not thugs, most are former militarty that fought in Iraq and Afghanistan.
