WSJ: Schedules Don't Show Alleged Clinton Briefing

March 20, 2008 10:57 AM

The Wall Street Journal unearths another tidbit from Hillary Clinton's voluminous White House schedules released yesterday.

In her book, "Living History," Clinton wrote eloquently about a key speech she made in Beijing, China, the paper notes -- "an effort to show she is willing to get tough on China," the paper described it.  Prior to the speech, Clinton recounted in her book, she took a briefing from State Department officials and was even given "intelligence information."  But her schedules for the period don't show any such briefings, the Journal says.

The paper does not report any comment from Clinton.  Her campaign didn't immediately respond to our request for comment.

Hillary's experience=First lady. She is a story telly. we should call her Ms. Cleo

Maybe she absorbed the briefing through osmosis.

But I also seem to recall that she did not have a security clearance at that time.

So this is perplexing.

You didn't really think to find anything that would support her statements that her experience as first lady counts, did you?

Hmmm......interesting.....Perhaps she is suffering from an inflated sense of history when she talks about her "experience."

I'm shocked! How could she lie? Oh wait she's been doing it since Day One. That should be her slogan. Lying since day 1. The only consistent thing on the Clinton campaign.

The actual "fairy tale" is the claim that Hillary has experience.

A "Fairy Tale" is obviously something more true and consistent of the Clintons.

And as everyone knows, "rules" don't apply, unless of course, they've been conveniently made-up by them at the appropriate time. And, as always, depends on your "definition of the word".

Did it really take this for people to realize her only credentials are her famous husband? Even more revealing is that she is running neck-n-neck with Obama. What does that tell you about his credentials? The whole thing is a joke. Why don't we just put Mickey Frickin Mouse in office and be done with it.

Oh what a tangle web we weave, when first we practice to deceive.

Who's practicing? She's an expert.

I swear, this makes me soooo happy...my head has been ready to explode since 1992! Is it possible that the media is REALLY going to expose these 2 bit shysters (the Clinton's) for who and what they rally are? OHHHH....thank you, Jesus!(and thank ALL the bloggers out there that are tearing the layers off this nasty old onion (called the Clintons).

Bravo!! The press is working overtime to get at the truth on Hillary. When they are getting to close to discovery, the Hillary campaign throws out a bone on Rev. Wright and gets them distracted from their search for the real truth. Hang in there, ABC NewsTeam. God speed!! God bless Obama!!

I was beginning to think the United states had their heads buried in the sand. How easy they seem to forget!!Sense their college days it has been one shady thing after another!!Both of them make me SICK!!!I pray that the people will open their eyes!!!

Clinton Speak.

Bill -- ”That depends on what your definition of "is" is”
and
Hill –- “I say a lot of things — millions of words a day — so if I misspoke, that was just a misstatement”

The idea that Clinton has any experience is fantasy as well...if at all the Clintons benefitted from the policies that Bush sr put in place...I'm saying this and I'm a democrat!
