Saudis Top Clinton Foundation Donor List
December 18, 2008 11:50 AM
ABC News’ Rick Klein Reports: The list that launched a few hundred stories during the Democratic primaries is finally out: The Clinton Foundation on Thursday posted its complete donor list on its Website, under an agreement that clears the way for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton to become Secretary of State.
In just a glimpse of the complicated Web of financial interests spun by former President Bill Clinton, the list spans 2,922 pages on the Website.
The two biggest -- in the “Greater than $25,000,000” category -- are The Children's Investment Fund Foundation and UNITAID.
Foreign governments and interests are everywhere on the list, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which donated between $10 million and $25 million.
Also giving more than $10 million: Canadian businessman Frank Giustra, producer Steven Bing, billionaires Tom Golisano and Ted Waitt, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Other foreign governments that donated money include Norway, Kuwait, Qatar, Brunei, Oman, Italy and Jamaica, per the AP write-up.

This is absolutely no surprise at all.

What's wrong with that? It's not like Pakistan, Iran, and Afghanistan are on the list.

Bill Clinton probably has a harem of lovelies provided by the Saudi government also. He's still a scumbag.

So, after 8 years of the lefties whining about Bush's relationship with the Saudis, Clinton is worse.
Typical.

Huh?
Posted by: LongT | Dec 18, 2008 12:41:25 PM
I guess I need to do a little homework, but why does one of the biggest donors sound like a charity? "The Children's Investment Fund Foundation and UNITAID". Never heard of them.

This conflict of interest alone ought to disqualify Hillary Clinton from serving as Secretary of State.

What does Bill Clinton's foundation do?
Posted by: The J | Dec 18, 2008 12:46:58 PM
Who cares? The Clinton Foundation does good work. Why do people feel the need to vilify donations to an organization that actually helps people?
Posted by: SFRussell1963 | Dec 18, 2008 12:51:09 PM
Good question Jay 3, what is the Clinton Foundation?
Posted by: John Locke | Dec 18, 2008 12:53:01 PM
The Clinton Foundation exists to fund the Clinton library in Little Rock, AR, and some unclear charities who's intention is suppose to aid in fighting AIDS and poverty. $492 million in donations since it's inception in 1997. One sticking point I see is India's contribution to the foundation.

I am sure Billy boy brings home a nice paycheck from the Foundation as well...Nice to know that Clinton is in bed with the oil rich Saudies...I bet we don't see that kind of money being donated to the Bush Foundation...
Posted by: camp50 | Dec 18, 2008 1:04:34 PM
the Saudis gave at least $1 million to the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum in College Station, Tex., along with elaborate gifts that included gold and silver camels.

ABC news is deleting comments made about the truth of matters and the truth about the state of affairs in the world. Keep up the great censorship ABC news.
