Don King: 'Fairy Tales Can Happen in America'
January 19, 2009 6:37 PM
Today on ABC NewsNOW's "Politics Live," Sam Donaldson and David Chalian spoke with famous boxing promoter -- and Obama enthusiast -- Don King.
An interesting interview all around.
"Remember, fairy tales can happen in America. This is what we see here and I am just so very proud to be an American and I just want to thank the American people and I love them all," King said. "So let us pursue this miraculous change that is taking place here in America tomorrow where baby hope/freedom will be born. She will give birth, America will give birth tomorrow at 12:00 to baby hope/freedom, the beacon of light and hope to the world."
Renowned historian Ken Burns also stopped by today to take us through the history of presidential inaugurations.
Be sure to tune in to ABC NewsNOW's coverage starting Tuesday morning at 9 am E.T. HERE.

Hope and freedom have been around for a long time in the hearts AND lived out by Americans.
Also being a president is not a fairy tale, it is a task of epic proportions and nobody never nohow is going to live happily ever after with any President.

Remember when Bill Clinton said it would be a fairy tale for Barack Obama to become president? The media is going to cram the new king down America's throat. http://www.ObamaRidesTheDonkey.com

Fairy Tales can happen in America? Sure can just look at the first openly gay mayor elected in Portland, OR. It is now revealed he is a child molester. Should that surprise us? Just another of a long list of fairy tales that endanger childeren.

We now have a socialist president. I wish this was only a fairytale.

All of the people who voted for Obama live in "the" fairytale of Obama. What a joke.
He is NOT presidential material nor is his wife first lady like.
The people of the U.S. have dissapointed for they are WEAK.
Today we have a president who knows nothing about how to run a country...
God help us.

Obama is President, he was selected by the majority of the people---that's it. My wife and I were trying to enjoy the parade in DC, like listen to the bands and etc. All I hear is Charlie, Diane and a few others running off at the mouth thruout the whole thing. Anyway you could shut them up??

This is more like a nightmare.

Of course it is a fairy tale! Michelle and Barack looked like two kids with their hands caught in the cookie jar. :)
It is too bad that his walk does not match his talk!
He actually thinks that the least of these - the tiny babies killed for convenience or...is OK! :(
PBO wants to restore science to its rightful place but does not wish to acknowledge that science has totally debunked the fetus fantasy!
