It’s Reigning Cats in the House
January 14, 2009 8:07 AM
ABC News’ Rick Klein Reports: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s feline friends star in a new Web video that’s launching the House of Representatives’ new YouTube channel -- and it’s hipper than you think.
Two cats are sniffing around Pelosi’s office in the Capitol -- checking out her gavel, admiring the view of the Washington Mall -- when viewers are promptly "Rickrolled."
Rickrolling (no relation) is when online viewers are, without warning or explanation, shuttled to watching some of the cheesiest footage ever recorded: Rick Astley’s 1987 music video for "Never Gonna Give You Up."
Maybe it’s a little 2008 for the savviest Web denizens. But for an institution that’s sometimes stuck in a different century, not a bad debut.

@Rick Klein,
And how much do you get paid? All the crap going on in the world and you give us, THIS?

Maybe it's just me, but I thought that was REALLY stupid.

And I thought Rickrolling would show you doing somersaults on Pelosi's video.
