Sens. Joe Lieberman, Lindsey Graham and John McCain said today they'll introduce legislation to help the twittering, youtubing, facebooking people of Iran. When McCain made a jab at the "liberal left," Graham jumped in to temper the criticism.

The Note: Obama Sells Health Plan to Public, Congress

President Obama’s sales pitch kicks off in earnest this week, but he’s being pressed to offer more details as he sells a product the nation isn’t sure it wants, and is growing concerned it can’t afford, ABC News senior political reporter Rick Klein writes in the Monday morning Note. And Iran’s continuing chaos nudges the president a bit further than he initially wanted to go -- but critics still want him going further.

The Note, 6/19/2009: Price Tags: Health care costs rise -- for the president, too

The hard part has certainly begun. Surprise: Health care is expensive. The ways to pay for it are unpopular. The nation is essentially broke. People tend to like their health insurance. Congressional action is achingly slow.
