Sunday Shows: Obama's Economic Team Is Upbeat, but Sen. McCain Sour


In light of April-June GDP numbers showing the economy still contracting – albeit less than expected, President Barack Obama’s economic team deluged the airwaves Sunday morning, bringing home the message laid out in his weekly address: the Recovery Act is working and the economy is headed in the right direction. Meanwhile, John McCain spoke out against the administration’s methods of economic recovery, its approach to bipartisan health care reform, and whether he would vote for Sotomayor.
