Check your DVR/TiVo
July 24, 2006 12:48 PM
We've learned of an unexpected consequence of our name change: Those of us who have DVRs have discovered our machines are no longer recording the broadcast. When it first happened on Thursday, we thought it was a fluke -- but it happened again on Friday. Turns out it's because we dropped the word "Tonight" from our title. Anyone who had "World News Tonight" programmed
needs to reprogram their DVR (and we suspect TiVo, too) to record "World News with Charles Gibson" if they still want to see our show. We don't know how many people this actually affects, but we thought you should know.
