Tuesday's Broadcast

Saw the coverage on the person who died from the bleeding. I am a physician & do need to voice my opinion about the people who need an interpreter mainly the Spanish speaking community!
1. This the only community gets the highest attention among all the immigrants in this country!
2. When they decide to come to this country, legally or illegally, they should be mandated to learn English rather than making it easy on them by bending our backs so mush! What if they are on a roadside & no access to phone or the interpreter! Who is responsible then?
3. With so many different immigrants in this country, one sees only the Spanish signs on the road! Chinese, Indian, Philipinos top the list of the immigrants, have seen any signs in these langauages so far anywhere?
4. Most of the other immigrants have been paying taxes, participating in the US economy since they have stepped on this soil, despite of the descrimination. People belonging to this community is trying to get everything as free as they can & we tax payers support them with our tax dollars.
5. Teenage pregnancy, drunken driving, drug deals, illegal entry in this country is a lot that costing us enormous money now & will definitely for years to come if we do not toughen up on them.
5. Why are the people in this administration so much in denial with this problem? Is it the only way they can cope with this?-Typical dysfunctional response!
6. When are the worthy immigrants going to be shown so much preference in this country? You are going to need them when you go down the tube completely while George Bush retires on his Texan Ranch!!!

I got a reply and referral to this blog on how ABC is exploring ways "we" could help Omar financially. Why should "we" the viewers help Omar? It's ABC that employed him (exploited may be a better word). It is ABC that, in good conscience, should pay this man a salary until he is able to come to the US or until he is safe. It was ABC that used this man, not "we." Crap, with the revenues you bring in for advertising on your news / entertainment "World News Tonight" Im certain there are a few dollars that could cover what you, ABC, owes him. But then he no longer contributes to your corporate bottom line so just let him go back to Iraq and be killed. A corporation has no conscience, just a need to feed its coffers. You're disgusting.
