Clinton Compares Obama to a Blank Screen

ABC News' Eloise Harper Reports: In a Nightline interview with ABC's Cynthia McFadden, Sen. Hillary Clinton, when asked about the Barack Obama phenomenon, used a quote from Obama to describe her opponent. "I think the best description actually is in Barack's own book" Clinton said, "where he said that he is a blank screen and people of widely different views project what they want to hear." Clinton continued saying "he just hasn’t been around long enough." Clinton continued saying "But with the blank screen it gives you a chance to just really infuse it with whatever you hope for, whatever you want without knowing."

Clinton was asked her reaction to the many women around this country who say they feel sorry for her. "I think a lot of woman project their own feelings in their lives on to me." Clinton stressed that it is a hard what she is doing but she gets up every day and thinks about what she is going to do – not dwelling on past mistakes, or what will happen if she loses Texas or Ohio.
When asked if Clinton was surprised by the outcome of how the race has shaped up, Clinton said she wasn’t but "he might be, because I think that he believed that he could, once he won Iowa, wrap it up. Then I won New Hampshire" Clinton said. When pressed on how she ever hated being treated as the front runner – Clinton complained that nothing has changed. "I’m still being treated like that – in terms of people coming after me."
Clinton says that she doesn’t listen to the pundits or the commentary about the race. "Everywhere I go people say ‘Don’t give up, don’t give up, stay with this.’" Clinton said, "There is something going on here."

OBAMA'S BAD JUDGEMENTS: 1) lets pull out of Iraq now and go back in tomorrow. 2) lets bomb pakistan without their consent if we find that alqeada is there....no considerations that pakistan is a nuclear weapon owner 3) voted 'present' when most of his colleagues fought to avoid sex shops from being set up next to schools 4) voted no when his colleagues tried to cap the credit card companies from raising rates 5) voted for the Chenney energy bill that has pilleage the tax payers money w/o much returns 6) opted to send out fliers noting a quote that his opponenent did not make 7) opted to partner up in a real estate deal with a man under investigation of political fixing and money laundering. 8) opted to take over 100K in donations from the same man who was still under investigation for political fixing and money laundering. 9) opted to sustain a spiritual counseling relationship with a pastor who had proclaimed that his hero is L Farakan who promotes hate against whites and jews. 10) opted to criticize oppenents of having close proximity with lobbyist when he had regular basketball games and poker games with lobbyist while in the IL legislature. OBAMA'S GOOD JUDGEMENT: 1)....But he made a speech against the Iraq war. Summary: One mediocre judgement do not equal "good judgement"

Wow...She continues to amaze me with her arrogance and lack of humility...
The beauty of an article like this is that Clinton supporters can't say that she has been "mistreated" by the media...
However, Clinton supporters will continue to make rude and disparaging remarks about Barack in 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1.....

REAL CHANGE: After being ruled for 232 years by men, the only REAL CHANGE would be to have a woman rule the United States.... that's the only real change that can be. So if anyone is serious about change, the most legitimate action on its behalf would be to vote for a woman as the next president of the Unied States, Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Ben that is ridiculous...No one should be voting for Hillary because she is a woman, and no one should be voting for Barack because he is an African American...
The change that is needed is one from the past...No one can argue that Hillary is an instrument of partisan politics...
If that's what you want then vote for Hillary, but don't bring race and gender into this race...It's 2008 for heaven's sake, and we as a nation are better than that...

Hillary Clinton is most qualified to lead this great country in the years ahead. She has the drive, dedication, and intelligence to steer what is the right course for our country. She has world stature and depth of experience that will serve her well in her next peoples' duty as president of the United States.

Again the zelous supporters of Obama are going to make this into a huge issue just like they did with that stupid picture. Barack Obama said it in his book that he was a BLANK SCREEN. So why are you guys tearing up Hillary for saying exactly what he said. Barack Obama's campaign is not anything to Politics as Usual, it is THE WORST FORM OF POLITICS!

Hillary Clinton is not an instrument of partisan politics. This is such a fallacy. Stop spewing the Republican propaganda of the 90s. Since being elected to the Senate, Republicanan and Democratic congress people universality praise her ability to work across the aisle for mutual, common goals.
And, race and gender are inherently in this campaign - it is in the air we breathe. Not everyone is enlightened enough to look past these issues yet, and to claim that it doesn't exist is very naive. Those who don't see it may need a sociology 101 course.

Does it not strike you as unsettling that Clinton folks want a "ruler" rather than a president? I mean, nobody "rules" the USA. Sorry, but that ain't how this puppy operates. We have a constitution and a government of, by and for the people... not of, by, and for two rich, powerful and influential families. The campaign has revealed: her royal empress has no clothes. The whole idea of a ruler is pretty disturbing.

RE: Women who say they feel sorry for Hillary, and they do not like her because.....
I once asked my sister-in-law why she doesn't like Hillary and why some women do not like Hillary. Mind you, she does not vote, but her husband is a rabid Republican. I asked her and she had no answer. Then she fumbled around and said she just stayed with Bill because she wanted to be President. Women against women. I do not get it. Working women, expecially, know the double standards for women to have the same career choices open to men. I suspect that may be the problem for many women who do not think for themselves and have to express the opinions of their husbands. It's a free country, isn't it?

And Clinton's screen is full...of bad judgment (Iraq war vote, choice of husband, etc.), lousy management skills (her current campaign being the most recent and glaring example) and utter inability to effect legislation, not only on healthcare (where she claims to be an "expert" LOL) in 1993, but also in 7 years of shrill, divisive and polarizing posturing in the Senate. Thanks, but NO THANKS!

His supporters tend to see whatever they want when looking at Barack Obama, and his opponents tend to see themselves. Hence Hillary Clinton says that he is inexperienced, and John McCain says that he is naive.

Hillary Clinton is the most qualified to run the country as long as leaders of other countries don't gang up on her. That of course is not fair, after all, she's a woman. As far as hypocrite Rush Limbaugh, anyone who is still listening to him ought to have their head examined or as least see if he still high on the drugs he was taking, while being critical of " drug abusers ".

Hillary is a hope for change. Both candidates represent a change in direction for this country. Hope, Change... they both bring it... Hillary also brings experience, knowledge, intensity, the will to fight. We are in for some hard times. In addition to hoping for change I need to know and trust. I know and trust Hillary more than I know/trust Barrack

Mrs. Clinton just need to go somwhere and hide herself. Who do she thank she is, when they was in the White House they brought disgrace to the US. She evil and she look evil. If she is nominated, I guaranteed you a lot of people will not vote Democrat, because we have had enough of the Clintons and Bushes.
