Palin, Biden & Injured Moderator
September 30, 2008 5:05 PM
This just in from TV Newser:
"PBS' Gwen Ifill has broken her ankle after tripping and falling down stairs at her home last night, a NewsHour insider tells TVNewser. We're told Ifill had been walking up a staircase, carrying research related to her moderating duties at Thursday's Vice Presidential debate in St. Louis, when she took a wrong step. We are also told the show will go on: Ifill is planning to travel to Missouri for the big event."

I dont believe this. The debate will still go on.

Oh dear, that's awful. I hope she is alright and is not in much pain. She should not continue to moderate if she is not feeling well. That's got to hurt and she should stay off it. Best thoughts to her.

Gwen Ifill is way too tough to let a broken ankle slow her down. Unlike some certain people who shall not be named, she doesn't need protection or fussing over. She will be a great moderator.

When I told her "break a leg", I only meant it figuratively ...

Please get well Gwen!!!
That is the important part. I am sure you can still do and be the moderator. My best wishes are for your health and recovery. God Bless you Gwen

It's very funny how the liberals keep focusing on someone they believe to
be so beneath them. If she's not a threat, why bother? In the meantime,
Gov. Sarah Palin is out in the forefront
running for VP of the USA. If she
loses, she will still be a Governor of
the great state of Alaska.

Gwen Ifill is releasing a pro-obama book. How can she be objective during the interview? The better she makes obama look the better her book will sell

Gwen has a significant financial interest in wanting Biden to win the VP debate. The title of her book set to release at the time of the inaugeration is "The Breakthrough; Politics and Race in the Age of Obama." I suppose her book would sell better if Obama wins, but I am hoping he does not. I am disappointed that ABC has turned me off with their bias and decided to overlook certain unappetizing aspects of Obama/Biden. I was a big fan, but I now enjoy spending my time with FOX Cable, where they truly are fair and balanced.

How could anyone with comon sense believe that if I was gonna have a book come out just after election for Obama that I wouldn't do anything at all to make Palin look like an Idiot!!! Personal gain seems to be the norm. Character was once thought of as admirable but I guess it also has gone out the window with the new way of thinking.......why did Obama take the singing school children from his site?.....the first thought of mine was films of Hitler having teachers do the same thing.
