On Deck Today - Exclusive with Presidents Bush Sr. & Clinton
September 24, 2008 11:11 AM
What time remained after our bailout-related conversations this morning was devoted to a pair of former presidents, and a pair of would-be presidents. To take the latter first: The latest ABC News-Washington Post poll has plenty of grist beyond the headline (Obama 52, McCain 43), and plenty of reasons for Senator McCain's campaign to be concerned (see our earlier post). As for the former, Presidents Clinton and Bush Sr. are joining forces for another disaster relief effort -- and they will be sitting down with our Charlie Gibson momentarily here in New York. That's our focus today -- along with the news from Galveston and Pyongyang, and points between. Stay tuned...
