A Joe Biden Zinger at McCain

October 09, 2008 4:30 PM

Abc_joe_biden_ms_finger_081009_220x ABC's Matt Jaffe reports:

Moments ago from Biden at his afternoon rally at William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri, just before he resumed hitting out at McCain's mortgage buy-out plan:

"Tuesday night, John McCain said, speaking of lurching, he was going to spend - he had a new idea. Sarah Palin says, you know, 'I was in second grade when Joe Biden was elected to the United States Senate at age 29.'  That's true, but she was in 6th grade the last time John had a new idea."

I was reading the transcript of an interview Sarah Palin gave to right winger Laura Ingraham, and this was the correct script, I now truly believe these take pride in being stupid. I assure from what I read, not fifty percent of the sentences was coherent. Furthermore, in these ridiculous times we're living, not one question about the economy from I read. Impressive!

ok jake tapper, please include this in your long list of joe gaffs...

the guy is for real and takes himself lightly. i like biden more and more each day ,especially when i hear him railing on the republicans and their total mishandling (tacitly or patently...the fbi will find out soon enough) of this nation and most every aspect of its governance.

republicans are scared to death of this dynamic duo and i can see why. both men are intelligent and vibrant and knowledgeable competent politicians as well. they and their new agenda for this country will make the previous republican "leadership" look like it really is...pathetic and probably illegal in many respects...I CANT WAIT!!!

Wonder what the new idea was - dump the injured broke wife for the rich bimbo girlfriend?

Funny and makes a good point at the same time.

If anyone can now ask Sarah the
questions she was asked during the
debate, I bet her answers will make
all listeners deaf.

Mr. McGoo and Caribou Palin are goin' down! The two of them together barely make a half-coherent statement.

POW! LMAO! Too funny! Finish 'em off, Joe!

Posted by: Bobby | Oct 9, 2008 4:53:58 PM

Good one Joe. Can I call you Joe? Well, Joe, you know us Hockey Dads really think that it's zingers like these that have caused the banks to fail and, Joe, let me say that these zingers prove that people like "that one" pall around with terrorists. You know what I mean Joe? And Joe, I'd like to stress Joe that there is not truth to the fact that I don't have a brain. Umm...Joe, can I get a lifeline?

Joe Biden=John McCain never met a military intervention or a government spending program they didn't like. Especially when it's... YOUR MONEY! These bombastic blowhards are about as Presidential as Nikita Khruschev or Michael Dukakis. Two feathers of the same bird of prey. And to make it worse Obama and McCain have to already agree on everything according to the last debate. Remember when voting gave you a choice? Not anymore.

Joe's good, but the best one is still "a noun, a verb and 911".

On the topic at hand, I sure am happy to see Joe Biden back on the road, ready to make Sarah Palin go slinking back to her white trash family in Alaska. I've had enough of her and her hokey-pokey attempts at cuteness. The election is over, so let's just have some class about the next few weeks and let things take their course.

Thank goodness that line didn't need a footnote.

Cursing does not help.
Besides, Gov. Palin was 39 before
Joe Biden actually got up close to
a 'poor person'.

Come on, just kidding.
Got any 'jokes'; I know you do.
