McCain Attacks Obama -- Harshest Criticism Yet

October 06, 2008 4:50 PM

080919_mccain_econ_220x146 McCain gave a hard hitting speech today...perhaps his harshest criticism yet for Barack Obama:

McCain:  "Rather than answer his critics, Senator Obama will try to distract you from noticing that he never answers the serious and legitimate questions he has been asked.  But let me reply in the plainest terms I know.  I don't need lessons about telling the truth to American people.  And were I ever to need any improvement in that regard, I probably wouldn't seek advice from a Chicago politician."

And the GOP candidate said that Obama remained a mystery despite all these months of campaigning:  "Even at this late hour in the campaign there are things we don't know about Senator Obama or the record that he brings to this campaign," McCain said. "We have all heard what he has said, but it is less clear what he has done or what he will do."

So after not learning the lessons of slime politics from the 2000 election, McGeezer has decided to use same slimy slanderous tactics. To top it all off, he has decided that he is going to slander Chicago in the process. Yes, free-falling is the best way to describe this assinine man.

DID
SARAH
PALIN
ANSWER
ONE
QUESTION
PUT
TO HER
IN THE
DEBATE?

Or did she explicitly state that she would not be answering any question she hadn't been prepped for, or which did not reflect favorably on McCain/Palin.

John McCain. Phony. Dishonest. Hot head.

McCain you are on the money, he is yet to say what he is going to do , he always diverts away from the question. Let me see him handle the questions that he is unprepared for tommorrow, straight and direct from the american people. Thug!!

Posted by: Kim | Oct 6, 2008 5:12:10 PM

McCain's been looking at the gallup polls showing Obama having a 8% lead for the past 10 days straight, that's all.

Nothing McCain could possibly do to win at this point. I guess he just try to do what Bush is doing, burn everything in sight as his ship sinks.

Sure Mr. McCain, you never lie. What about the 600 soldiers who were left back in Vietnam, whom you did not help? Not only this, you made even laws to stop investigations about them and so they died miserably. It is time for this to be spread and you need to be taken to task. Relatives of those veterans have to sue him. Shame on you.

Are you people the idiots that thought our government were responsible for 9/11. Even Bill Clinton told you you were nuts.

Posted by: Joe A. | Oct 6, 2008 5:14:19 PM

McCain vs. McCain... here we go again.

McCain is the one with no plans no substance. He can't answer a question and neither can Sarah. All they have is attack Obama.. Empty Suites...

Posted by: beck | Oct 6, 2008 5:14:56 PM

Yes!!!!!!

Also, McCain can attack Obama's economy policy, which is beautifully packaged----the promise can not be kept.

McCain can attack Obama's increase gov. spending and tax.

Obama also received over a million dollars for a Botanical Garden that was never built and no one knows where the money is. It was in the Suntimes last week.

Posted by: Joe A. | Oct 6, 2008 5:16:56 PM

While McCain is busy ignoring the realities of the economy spending all his time throwing mud - the rest of America is just throwing up.

Posted by: Jennifer | Oct 6, 2008 5:17:25 PM

Sarah your friends in Alaska sends you a message:

People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones......

Let not forget Sarah Palin association's with the radical Alaska Independence Party that wants to secede from this great country, the United States of America.

And here is a quote from Alaskan Independence Party founder Joe Voegler:
“The fires of Hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government, and I won’t be buried under their damn flag!”

I wonder how Palin explains her husband''s verified membership in the "ALASKIAN INDEPENDENCE PARTY?" Seems she doesn''t believe in the UNITED States of America, does she??

SARAH HATES AMERICA AND MCCAIN BACKS HER!!

1) How is it we have not heard anything from the main stream media regarding ACORN? i want to know the truth about Obama's relationship with the group (i understand he was an attorney for them and that they contributed signicant funds to his campaign)- i also understand that there was a large piece of pork designated for ACORN in the original bailout plan, but was removed before the plan was approved. 2) I need to really know more about Obama's past before i can, in good conscience, vote for him to lead us into the future. God help America!

I think McCain is possessed. Quick - someone get Palin's witch doctor to do a prayer over him!

Posted by: Jennifer | Oct 6, 2008 5:19:53 PM

I, too, have had questions throughout these campaigns, and I don't have a grasp on who Barack Obama is or what he will do to positively change the country.

As I do more and more research, it concerns me that the change Mr. Obama could bring us is an even worse economic crisis while all the time blaming Bush and the Republicans.

One thing that became very clear to me during the bailout hooplah was that the Democrats consistently - and with righteous indignation - blamed the Republicans for the crisis in our economy. Certainly, the Republicans and the current administration are partially to blame; however, Democrats have controlled the Congress for two years? How can they not share some of the responsibility? If they don't, then maybe that means they haven't done anything? (Which still lays some of the blame at their feet.)

I really wonder if Barack Obama - especially considering that Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid will still lead the Democratic-controled Congress - really could get past the partisanship that is destroying our country? It doesn't sound like any of them, including Joe Biden, want to get past it - it's all blame the Republicans.

It's also so prevalent on these boards and others I've seen. When will people be able to get past calling each other names based on party lines? Can't you see how destructive your behavior really is?

We need more bloggers for McCain. I believe Obama has a lot of paid bloggers.

Posted by: abelntess | Oct 6, 2008 5:22:02 PM

Mccain...although I was not going to vote for you simply because our views do not match I did respect you. I now no longer respect you. You are a disgrace to this country.
