WATCH - Salon Magazine Video of Possible Friendly Fire Incident
October 14, 2008 10:01 AM
Salon Magazine has obtained and posted to their site an incident in Ramadi that resulted in the death of two US soldiers. The video (Watch here) is from December, 2006 and shows a squad in a building taking fire...from what the soldiers believe is a US tank. Two soldiers were killed in the incident. An investigation concluded that the deaths were not a result of friendly fire...that they were killed from simultaneous mortar rounds fired by the enemy. The video was captured by a camera mounted on one of the soldiers helmets. Note the warning on Salon's site -- this is graphic footage.

I'm so very sorry for those young men
and their families. Just watching the
film was intense. I can only imagine what they went through and what their families are still going through.
