Obama's To-Do List
November 17, 2008 1:12 PM
Barack Obama was his calm, collected self on 60 Minutes last night, certainly not understating the scale of the task at hand but not appearing daunted by it, either. But it is difficult to imagine a more nightmarish Oval Office in-box.
With apologies to David Letterman (and there's no humor here), we began putting together a Top Ten list...only to find we had 13 items before we knew it. Take a look: What should the President-elect tackle first? And -- what are we missing?
1. Frozen Credit
2. Job Losses
3. Terror Havens In Afghanistan & Pakistan
4. Health Care Reform
5. War In Iraq
6. The Looming Collapse of the Big Three Automakers
7. Resurgent Russia
8. Immigration
9. Environment/Climate Change
10. Education
11. Energy Independence
12. Nuclear Iran
13. Middle East Peace

all I know is that if someone turns him down to help...
they should not be elected again in their own state.
the world is at a crossroads...and if team Obama does not succeed
anything else may not matter.

IDK with all the promises he made to federal employees with all the letters he wrote, his to-do-list is way longer than you report....

Nice mess he inherits. Incumbant upon all in the Congress and the government in general to work together to solve these issues.
