Pakistani Hand in Mumbai Attacks?

November 27, 2008 8:07 AM

By JIM SCIUTTO, Senior Foreign Correspondent, ABC News London

Off the coast of India, authorities have captured Pakistani merchant ships which may be tied to Wednesday's terrorist attacks according to IANS news agency quoting Indian Navy officials. Many Indians had already begun speculating about a Pakistani connection. While India has an Islamist problem of its own, driven in part by huge class differences between Muslims and Hindus in India, Pakistani terror groups have staged attacks in India before and Indian Islamist groups have ties across the border.

For Americans, the Mumbai attacks could be another sign of how Pakistan’s implosion has huge regional implications – for U.S. interests in Afghanistan, for nuclear-armed Pakistan and for India. Some analysts see today’s attack as a wider "call to jihad" for India’s 150 million Muslims, a figure nearly on par with the entire population of Pakistan.

There are 3 primary reasons that would make you respond to the terror attacks in such a way.

1. You're an ardent follower of the media who enjoys the brainwashing effect since apparently reasoning is too tedious of a task for your fragile mind.

2. Your either a hindu, a sikh, a Jew, or some other fanatical follower of a religion that promotes hostility towards Islam.

3. Your both of the above

Even if it's not related to Pakistan, they are Islamic militans, by thier own admission. So what the hell are you on about.

If Islam cant organise a central authority to hand down dictates to it's followers than you will continue to be at the mercy ofiduvidual
interpretations from differnt Imams & Mulla's.

I have a thorough disdain for all religions as they encourage people not to think. The bible & the Koran are both full of vitriolic, primitive barbarism that has no place in the modern world.

I dont think we should accord any respect to religion as it is a betrayal of all human progress & reason.

If people want to remain in the bronze age so be it but how dare anyone expect modern societies to make any exceptions for them.

THERE IS NO JUSTIFICATION OF THIS BARBARIAN ACT.Pakistan is a failed state and a fertile breeding ground of terrorists.Pakistani hatred towards India's democratic tradition and progress is well known. It is time we put the finger where the blame is:IT IS NOT IRAQ OR AFGHANISTAN ,IT IS PAKISTAN THAT THREATENS ALL DEMOCRACIES.

You neglected to add one religion to your list: Christianity.

A FAILED STATE PAKISTAN WHO SUPPORT EACH ACTIVITY THAT IS AGAINST INDIA AND MUMBAI ATTACK IS ONE OF THEM. IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME WHEN PAKISTAN WILL BE DIVIDED IN TO PARTS. SO IN GOD WE TRUST AND HE IS REAL OWNER OF EVERYTHING IN WORLD. HE WILL TAKE NOTE OF THIS MASSACARE ALSO AND PAKISTAN WILL HAVE TO PAY PRICE FOR THIS IN THE COMING FUTURE.

FZ …the very next day when Mumbai was attacked Pakistan president made a call to Saudi Arabia , Kuwait , UAE , and a number of Muslim countries to explain there position .They thought only a Muslim country would understand and trust there excuses. . It shows the level and direction of thinking of Pakistan. There aim is to spread terror all across the world in the name of Islam. They should have made a call to UK, USA, Japan and other non Muslim, European or Asian countries too, if not guilty….

India has enough enemies within to commit such acts kashmir, assam, tamil to name just a few. Don't forget who assasinated Rajiv and his mother - It was no paki!

These acts were an immense failure of navy and coastguard. Its always easy to blame your arch enemy and Indians never miss that opportunity because it serves a political purpose. Pakis at times do the same. Those who are from sub continent are all too familiar with this tactic. Probably timing is best suited because of upcoming elections and BJP has been out of power for a while. Indians get ready for Patriot act!!

Those who want to nuke paki.. you will be nuked in return.
Those who would like to see Pakistan split into pieces remember it will pave way for the oppressed to rise against the indian gov and your second largest democracy will not be as large. So its not in the best interest of the region.

Pakistan is experiencing similar acts almost on a weekly basis. Last thing they want to do is mess with a country three times their size.

Whoever committed such abhorrent acts are devoid of religion and humanity and will burn in hell. No religion tolerates and condones murder. Lord have mercy on the souls of innocent.

Peace!

very few paki's think like u do SAMI but let me know any one terror attack where a non muslim was involved , nobody wants to nuke paki , but if they keep doing what they r doing then they r asking for it , i am sure that 1.29 billion INDIANS are not affared of getting nuked as long as there is no pakistan on map .
