This photo struck us this morning -- though no one was quite sure why. Perhaps it's nothing more complicated than the idea that this fellow in the White Sox hat, shades and warm-up suit will be the 44th President of the United States.

I'm with you. This is a striking photo, yet I don't know why. Strangely sophisticated, maybe? Strangely unsettling? Could it be that we don't want to see our president looking cool, or do we appreciate that finally we have a cool-looking president? I'm at a loss.

Breaking News: Rahm Emanuel, David Axelrod and President elect Barack Obama are actually transformers. While Emanuel and Axelrod were able to easily transform into GM SUV's ( left ), Obama is a less interesting private detective transformer.

A Normal guy, just like us, but so talented and gifted, I am so Proud. Do not need $150k clothes, to make people fool. His intelligence is enough to lead us to the right direction! Go Mr. President-elect!!

Brenda: very clever!
jj: Why would you think he looked gloomy? He can't be walking around 24/7 with a smile on his face.
I am so happy that he won, but also hope everyone realizes that the mess he has to clean up is going to take time & effort on everyones part and that we need to have patience.
