Skip School For A Real History Lesson?

We're gearing up for inaugural coverage, of course -- Charlie Gibson and the World News team will be in the nation's capital beginning Saturday -- and there is an almost limitless collection of great sidebar stories to follow. Have to say, though, one of the better stories this morning was to be found in The Washington Post. They profile a group of college and high-school students who are either skipping classes or fighting school administrators, to be sure they do not miss a moment of history.

As one 11th-grader puts it: "What are you going to tell your kids or your friends when they ask what you were doing on Inauguration Day? Like, 'taking an exam'? That's not cool." More here...
