The Last Minutes of the Bush Administration

ABC's Ann Compton reports from Washington:

It appears that President Bush has left the Oval Office and returned to the residence.

President Bush will dine tonight one last time in the White House. I am told it will be the President and Laura Bush, twins Jenna and Barbara, and former President and Barbara Bush.  They will spend one last night here.

Outside the Oval Office, eleven large color photographs still adorn the stairway, shots of President and Mrs Bush and Barney at work and play.  These will disappear any time now.

The President's lead Secret Service agent Don White had been with President-elect Obama yesterday at the concert and today, managing to get in the way of the camera shots during the community service events.  But White will indeed accompany President Bush to the Capitol Hill tomorrow and then shift to President Obama at the oath-taking.
