January 13, 2009 12:41 PM

Yesterday President Bush gave his farewell press conference. Next up will be a farewell address to the nation. Lots of farewells this week and that got us thinking about the toll eight years takes on a president. Here's some before and afters of the eight year Oval Office occupants. Click here for more.

In Bush's case, the nation took on a great toll too.

Bush looks weary because he's probably hitting the bottle again. Viewing his antics during his last press conference, one can only assume that he's not sober.

Oh, and let's not forget, the devil has been pulling his toes since the day he invaded Iraq.

I'd like to see a snapshot of what this nation looked like before GW Bush & Friends got a hold of it as compared with how it looks now.

You Bush haters give him too much credit.
He's only the president.
The decline of our nation is due more to the degrading of moral and family values.

It's like any job in that the people who excel at it, you can see thrive on the challenges and really love it. The ones who moan about the pressure, seem crushed by the job or the "klieg lights" are the underperformers. BTW, Bush's press conference seemed like a straight take from the recent Oliver Stone movie "W". It was uncanny, as the movie ends with a press conference where a bewildered Bush tries to defend his disastrous presidency.

So, what's the reason Clinton looked weary? Was the devil pulling his toes?

Every president ends with a final press conference.
People will nit-pick things to death.

It's not my job or anyone else's job to judge who makes it to heaven.

I thought it took the presidency took its biggest toll on Jimmy Carter and that was only 4 years. I'd hate to think what President Carter would have looked like if he had won a second term.

I don't think the presidents or the vice presidents are worried about some people's opinion.

Because too many people do not get full information about their government;one hundred percent of the people are not even aware of the evils of the Bush Regime. The highest office in the land has been abused beyond belief. Without question, these criminals must be prosecuted. There is enough evidence that proves their involvement with the 9/11 attacks.
