World Newser Question Of The Day: $igns Of The Time$

What's the most interesting sign of the economic mess you've seen, or heard about?

Last night we reported on the growing number of senior citizens who've moved from retirement back to the workplace. Today we read in The New York Times about a fancy restaurant in Prague that has "unveiled a novel approach this week to lure business clients to one of his upscale dining rooms: let diners pay what they like." Doesn't matter how much of the scumptious lunch buffet you have, the owner believes executives won't want to appear cheap by paying nothing; and that even if they do, they'll come back as paying customers once things turn around. "During an economu crisis you need to be creative," he says.

So -- what's your most interesting, or dramatic, sign of the times?
