“The official party line here today – the situation is under control. But when we ventured out into this ethnically divided city…we discovered a disturbing scene - a mob of Han Chinese, armed with sticks and bats, viciously beating a Uighur man before turning their anger towards us, outraged by what they call biased foreign coverage of recent events.” -- ABC's Clarissa Ward, in Urumqi, China
"Next time we won't give up a two-to-nothing lead." -- President Barack Obama to Brazil's Lula da Silva, referring to the U.S. Soccer team's heartbreaking loss to Brazil last month.
"That's my question mark, that's your question mark, that is everybody's question mark. But we don't have to wait long until we find out, that's the good thing." -- Seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong, on whether he can handle the mountain stages of the race as he continues his comeback
