Let us hope the bill is dead on arrival.
At the very least, that will ensure that religion's opposition to abortion does not influence lawmaking in government.

Opposition to abortion? Is that even an issue? It's going to cost us $1,000,000,000,000.
At this point in this country's economic history, can we really afford this?
These guys need to STOP. They need to step back, take a few deep breaths and GET A GRIP.
They're SUPPOSED to be helping us, but instead they're actively trying to destroy us.

>> Opposition to abortion? Is that even an issue? << Yes when the pope can dictate the law of the land it is a issue. As long as the Roman Catholic Church is going to dictate the terms why not let them pick up the tab as well.

The news is only reporting the cost. Other adjustments in the bill would actually NET 104 billion over a 10 year period. I really think big media is leaving this out on purpose. As to why we can only speculate. Big media needs to be broken up just like big banks, and big corps....
